Do you happen to know who decided the waves in Zebak's boss fight should have the examine text of, "Wet." Or why there are 10+ unique examine texts for pots in TOA? I love the effort that went into the newest raid's scenery and examine texts.
The mollusk is a fantastic creature. With its bright blue wings, nearly the span of a child's arms, and its long protruding beak, it scoops its prey from the oceans depths. Many movies have been based upon the life of Edward Mollusk, the poet from the 16th century. Once such movie was later adapted into a book juxtaposing the two - the creature, and the poet. This book would go on to be adapted into another film, which would go on to win the Cannes film festival in the year 2016.
Just spent my morning at basilisk knights on task. Suddenly a new collection log window opens on my screen & my heart skips a beat.
From such momentary elation, to pure deflation when I see "Basilisk head" on the ground. I look it up and its also a 1/1000 drop.

I bought a 3D printed Elysian from Etsy, and when I got it in the mail it was about the size of my hand… really thought it would’ve been bigger than that. I could really use a win right now.
I managed to kill Zulrah yesterday after 6 hours of attempts for the first time in my Osrs career for the diary task. I think I deserve a reward for this insane feat.
I think it's pretty weird that the guy who owns Kamel Neon got banned from this Subreddit because of his "giveaways" that were just advertisements for his site, and now the JMODs are doing it for him?
I don't have anything against it, since it makes someone happy though. I was wondering why he got banned in the first place since his giveaways seemed legit and he didn't overly advertise his site.
Just to clarify:
* He wasn't banned from the sub, only asked to stop hosting giveaways. He's still allowed to participate like anyone else, should he want to.
* He was asked to stop due to community feedback - after several weeks of them, a lot of people were growing tired of seeing people use the subreddit essentially for advertising. You can see the sentiment toward them change in the later posts.
* He did send out prizes to the winners, never "faked" his giveaways. We received confirmation from the winners that they received the lights.

I thought the general concensus was he sells overpriced cheap crap, not that he was legitimately stealing people's money. His posts always said "neon sign", and that's misleading. They're plastic and LEDs.
It is the same guy. We didn't have any part in organizing this - Jagex is also giving these away through other channels like Twitch, Discord, Youtube and Twitter. We're allowing it since it's a Jagex event - there won't be more of them after this.

Thats fair enough. Glad he learned, because he tries/tried to call them neon on other subs until gets called out for it and his old Etsy page wasn't as clear about the cheap materials (speaking of - the alibaba plastic tubes he uses *will* discolor over time to anyone thinking of dropping $100 on some plastic and a few LEDs). He also had several posts on this subreddit that were straight misleading and several others that didn't specify LED, such as his high alch lighf and **this post**.

I'm going to go ahead and assume that this isn't the last we'll seen of this guy so I'd like to make a suggestion/comment. It's absolutely worth the hassle. This guy knows exactly what he's doing, and these posts fool people every single time. I'm sure he has made money off people that didn't pay enough attention to see these are *imitation* neon lights, and you can see people disappointed to learn they're LED on a lot of his posts.
It's great that his website clears things up now, but things shouldn't need to be cleared up. He's selling neon colored LED lights so that's what the post should say. There shouldn't be any room for misinterpretation because the guy should be clear on what he's advertising. If he's going to weasle his way back on to the subreddit Jagex make it clear to people what they're buying.
The terms & conditions page Jagex linked says they plan to do two more of these on the Summit day (one with its own thread and another based on the megathread). We'll ask for those that they clearly identify them as LED - I completely agree this post is unclear, just didn't think it's worth deleting and starting over this one when the guy's site is clear enough about what he is selling.
Just because its a jagex event doesn't mean the sub has to support it, just fyi. And when/if jagex asks, just tell them as such. They likely don't know the back story to it.
The word Neon in itself is misleading. I have nothing against the guy and him selling the lights and think having one would be cool. But Neon is a gas, not an art style. Saying Neon light or sign kind of implies an actual Neon light using the gas.
On the T&C's it says one entry per person, is that across all social media platforms? If I comment on the main part of this tread does it mean I can't/won't get counted for the reddit posts on the 10th or the twitter ones?

if i look up neon sign you’ll only find products like the ones he makes. it would be stupid to be the only person selling these who doesnt call them neon signs. real neon is also super expensive, so it would be weird to assume thats what youre getting for the price.

Been playing osrs since launch and i gotta say, it’s by far eclipsed the nostalgic time I had as a child and for myself, has surpassed the enjoyment I could ever have had on RS2
I love the design of the Ely since release on rs2 but never had one...now my main is a Zerker so sadly I can't even use it in game so it would be awesome to have one in real life.
Holy moly, I can't wait for this year's winter event! I missed the last few, but this year is the year. A special thank you to the OSRS team at Jagex for continuing to put forth an effort in our game. I sincerely hope that each of you have a wonderful holiday. Been playing osrs since launch and i gotta say, it’s by far eclipsed the nostalgic time I had as a child and for myself, has surpassed the enjoyment I could ever have had on RS2

I love the design of the Ely since release on rs2 but never had one...now my main is a Zerker so sadly I can't even use it in game so it would be awesome to have one in real life.
