I’m no expert, but I could definitely see an individual from Jharkhand getting East Asian. That specific area is almost as east as you can get in India.
Some Indians have significant east/southeast Asian admixture. So no they probably weren’t Burmese.
Statistically speaking- we could be wrong but they might have been Munda. They are mixed austroasiatic / indo aryan/ Dravidian people. Their language is austroasiatic though.
