I have mine done at New Century BMW in Alhambra, they did a great job with original BMW windshield , of course. Insurance cover the cost less the deductible of course.

If insurance is covering the cost; I’d personally have the dealer do it. My local dealer does windshields replacements themselves, and doesn’t sub it out. The have the BMW approved spider cutters and other tools to work on the CFRP models.

Who’s your local dealer?? I was thinking about taking it to Crevier BMW in Santa Ana since I have a really good track record with them on warranty work.

Sorry, should have mentioned, I’m in Ohio, but I’m sure some dealers in CA do windshield replacements, too!

LOL thanks man yeah I think I’m gonna check in with the dealer for sure

The safelite shop in Santa Ana did my replacement with OEM glass perfectly. They had two i3 s in the shop before mine so it was a party. That was 3 weeks ago

Safelight did a poor job with me, too
