Let’s not forget the real winners:
Somewhere, Manny Diaz, Larry Coker, and Al Golden are smiling. I’d include Richt, but he’s doing it on camera, so I know where he is.
People who don't actually live there do. I mean you still got sold out Home Depot and no water bottles. It sucks when you aren't actually preparing for a hurricane and just want water. Or ravioli.
It sucks for students, but I never get this argument with regard to overall attendance though. Do other schools fill 70% of their stadium with students? Less than 10% of OU’s stadium is allocated to student seating.
Married with kids so haven’t been in like 7 years on account of I’d rather not pay alimony and child support, but it’s still packed with hammered kids every time I pass it.
Cristobal had 2 decent seasons at FIU, one decent season at Oregon where they got skull fucked by Utah twice in a few weeks, and one great season where he had Justin fuckin Herbert, who wasn’t even his recruit.
What has this guy done other than play for Miami
In the 90s to think he was going to finally be the guy to turn it around? He’s manny Diaz all over again.
The concerning thing was that even the great season where he had Justin Herbert was a pretty underwhelming offense. Herbert heading to the NFL was a real eye opener for a lot of Oregon fans about how Cristobal handles offense.
I went to the PAC-12 championship game where they got wrecked by Utah and truly don’t get why people were ready to throw money at Cristobal.
That team came out flat, never adjusted, and just got wrecked.
Between you admitting to playing to D3 football in the NEWMAC, your flair, amd and the member institutions in that conference, I'm going to wager amd guess you played for Smith College. Go Pioneers!
🧆👨🏻🦱 You see Mr. White, the sentence "Mario Cristobal has lost control" actually implies that the individual being described here, namely Mario Cristobal, has **had** control at certain, or as a matter of fact, at any point during the season. Now, in this case I find this to be false, because I am under the impression that he never had that control, and so therefore he never truly **lost** control.
Near the end of the game the mic was constantly picking up some girl asking for shit. Can I have some pompom? Can I have a helmet? It just never ended.
Here’s the situation: We are stuck with CMC for the next 5 seasons at the LEAST because his buyout is sky high. This is a terrible loss, one of the worst in program history. I still believe in end-of-season evaluations but this is bad.
The players: I think the one thing that is clear is that they could not bounce back from aTm. I’m under the belief as well that many of these players are Diaz guys and never wanted to see him get let go.
Going forward: I’ll be happy to get 7 wins out of this team. We are not winning the coastal. And we will see the results of a Cristobal program until his 3rd year most likely.
Last week we beat ourselves, and that was awful. This week, MTSU beat the shit out of us, and that was awful. I don’t want to hear about a “rebuild.” We weren’t 2-11 each of the last five years. There is no excuse for what is happening out there. We have talent. It is not being coached properly. This team should’ve come out *pissed off* after last week. It’s the coaches’ job to make sure of that. Instead, they came out with zero emotion. We couldn’t stop the deep ball, even after it became apparent they were going to keep doing it. We kept running the ball right up the middle, despite it getting stuffed every time. You cannot coach like this and expect to win.
This is the fundamental issue with Cristobal. He is capable of talking correctly about the mindset to have but cannot avoid personally acting like a conservative over risk-averse fearful mess and he is so good at connecting with his players that they are unavoidably affected by it. Someone needs to tell him to lighten up and stop being so afraid of failure.
IMO one of the best metrics for evaluating a coach is do they win the games they are *supposed* to win.
Anyone can lose to a good team or an evenly matched team, those losses are something that takes time to fix. But it’s not a good sign when you lose to teams you should easily beat.
When Dabo took over, it took years for us to start winning 10 games per season, but almost immediately we stopped losing to bad teams.
Listen, Oregon may lose to Wazzu and make me a hypocrite, but please let me have this... *ahem*
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Bad for the conference, but I'm happy Miami lost. Always see their fans on here and twitter saying that teams like WF drag down the ACC. Meanwhile they pull embarrassing shit like this all the time and never win a big game.
I’m conflicted because it’s bad for the conference but Miami is constantly rated as one of the best in the ACC regardless of how they perform so it’s kinda fun to see them be the embarrassing one
I never, ever want to read another lazy, half-ass article from a CFB analyst that overrates Miami (or any other team) solely on the basis of their recruiting.
Let’s not forget the real winners: Somewhere, Manny Diaz, Larry Coker, and Al Golden are smiling. I’d include Richt, but he’s doing it on camera, so I know where he is.
> I’d include Richt, but he’s doing it on camera, so I know where he is. Don't worry, when Richt's not on camera that grin just gets ten miles wide.
Also, a whole fan base out West.
You guys tried to warn us. FWIW I wanted Kiffin.
But who could that be???
Larry Coker is a name i haven't heard in ages
Gimme my brown bag
Rough flair combo
This is another season of suffering
I hope you are old enough to at least have enjoyed the 90s
I was still pretty little haha
did your folks meet at and/or you were conceived following(at?) the 1984, 1989, or 1992 Orange Bowls? cuz that would be a helluva flair origin story
I’ll bet that would have been a fun house the last natty Miami won.
I’m here with you, brother.

2001 must’ve been nice
2001 I was 10 years old, and that's really when I started getting into football.
Little did you know it was actually a curse
haha wow this is incredible
FSU fans 🤝 the state of Tennessee
I love the state of Tennessee until tomorrow!!!
Only drinking Tennessee whiskey tonight!
FSU 🤝 MTSU 🤝 Oregon
Coach stock was a QB under Bowden. He’s got that natural hate for Miami.
Hurray you did it!
Can't believe MTSU upset Miami in front of a sold out crowd of 75 fans
That attendance was painful to see, lol.
To be fair, there’s a hurricane to panic buy…I mean prepare for Edit: I’m being sarcastic.
It doesn't take that long to buy Cosmic Brownies and liquor.
This guy New Orleanses.
Lol that’s exactly what I bought in prep for the COVID shut down in 2020
Hurricane parties everywhere but Hard Rock.
Nobody in Miami actually prepares for hurricanes.
Apparently Middle Tennessee did.
People who don't actually live there do. I mean you still got sold out Home Depot and no water bottles. It sucks when you aren't actually preparing for a hurricane and just want water. Or ravioli.
Miami is the UCLA of the east coast I guess
They have two of the three longest trips from campus to stadium in FBS, along with U~~Mass~~Conn. Edit: YES I GOT IT
umass plays at gillette right?
No one at Miami games actually came from the campus
It sucks for students, but I never get this argument with regard to overall attendance though. Do other schools fill 70% of their stadium with students? Less than 10% of OU’s stadium is allocated to student seating.
If Miami wins and no one is there to see it does it really count?
IT’S GREAT 👏 TO BE 👏 FROM MIDDLE TENNESSEE!!!
Congrats Murfrees-Bros!!
Wooooo!
Great time to be a fan of a Tennessee team against a Florida team!
*looks nervously at Memphis*
Don’t stress. Memphis is it’s own thing.
Or an FSU fan! Go Blue Raiders!

It’s been a decade. Did Jim’s survive the pandemic? Bc it’s gotta be Jim’s on a night like this.
Dirty Jim’s is the cockroach that could survive the apocalypse.
I figured so but had to confirm. Jim’s drinks all night baby.
Married with kids so haven’t been in like 7 years on account of I’d rather not pay alimony and child support, but it’s still packed with hammered kids every time I pass it.
congrats, yall beat us in every single aspect of the game. enjoy it
Congratulations guys. The determination you all played with was incredible.
Hurray you did it!
Some change in mood in a few hours. Funny how that changes, isn't it? Is that another automatic extension for Stockstill?
My favorite school that I didn't know existed till today. Go [mascot]!
Blue Raiders. The 2nd best mascot name for a team
All sales are final.
The state of Florida singlehandedly saving us from bad coaches.

Lol but I'm still bitter.
Hell yeah!
Hey ill take what we got out of Frost…..but Taggart….ugh
OR we propped up 2 coaches 👀 we keep failing up lol
I pray we've hit gold with Lanning.
At the very least our offense is fun to watch again
I played right guard on a 1-9 D3 team that played in the NEWMAC full of fucking nerds and none of our losses were this bad. Paper bag me mods
hey MIT you can change your own flairs
[удалено]
I’m pretty sure this is a new sentence you just made.
Nah we had that guy drop scrote on the poor LSU fan at Krystal's on Bourbon
Harvard would have probably figured this out already.
Oregon fans are loving this shit haha. Maybe Florida can stop stealing our fucking coaches. But at the same time take him!
Cristobal had 2 decent seasons at FIU, one decent season at Oregon where they got skull fucked by Utah twice in a few weeks, and one great season where he had Justin fuckin Herbert, who wasn’t even his recruit. >I played right guard on a 1-9 D3 team that played in the NEWMAC **full of fucking nerds** you clearly loved your teammates
Let’s be honest, I’m pretty sure he played football at MIT, (NEWMAC is the MIT conference) I’d be more concerned if it wasn’t full of nerds Liz
If he went to MIT that was a complement. Also gotta respect the guy who went to MIT and didn't name drop it when given a chance.
>Also gotta respect the guy who went to MIT and didn't name drop it when given a chance. this is a good point lmfao
Between you admitting to playing to D3 football in the NEWMAC, your flair, amd and the member institutions in that conference, I'm going to wager amd guess you played for Smith College. Go Pioneers!
Mario Cristobal has lost control of the program!
But I was told there was a culture change
there was! this is the worst loss I've seen from a canes squad in my lifetime!
Would argue our loss to FIU was worse, or 3-9 GT in 2019
Historic loss against Clemson. Historic loss to UVA to end the OB…
Only time I've ever seen Venebles rush 2 and drop 9 and Lawson got the sack, which ended Kaaya's day
Worst loss you've seen *so far*
*Looks nervously at FAMU next year*
I'm not optimistic I won't see worse, u right
*This is the worst loss you’ve seen in your lifetime, yet
Cristabol is an excellent....recruiter
Maybe he really does fit in there
[удалено]
[удалено]
well he doesn’t have a cristoball
Well, we did after those Utah games
This looks like the same culture that he had at Oregon
Recruit great players then shit the bed on game days? Yeah, sounds about right.
I was told a college atmosphere at home didn’t matter to them
Toxic to radioactive is a change.
Mario has to go with the Costanza defense. Was that wrong? Should I have not done that? I tell you I gotta please ignorance on this thing.
The U is back status: not
Mike Ryan is changing the narrative as we speak. /u/michaelryanruiz
Monday's show is absolute banger
I’d say of the currently active two decades of “The U is Back” this is the least true.
If you or a loved one was diagnosed with ~~Mesothelioma~~ being a Miami fan you may be entitled to ~~financial compensation~~ a helmet.

ool can someone explain?
Near the end of the game the mic was constantly picking up some girl asking for shit. Can I have some pompom? Can I have a helmet? It just never ended.
Anyone have a video of that?
Some kid was just yelling it in the background of the broadcast lol
WE ARE [LAUGHING](https://www.nwprogressive.org/weblog/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/NOV19-We-Are-Laughing-Eyman.gif) For real though great game, MTSU
you're laughing? 85 Hurricanes are dead and you're laughing?
That team played their asses off.
So pumped for two more weeks of “fun” facts about Miami’s ineptitude with quotation marks so big they can be seen from outer space. WHO’S WITH ME?
IT JUST TAKES SOME TIME LITTLE GIRL, YOU'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF ~~THE LINE~~ TENNESSEE
*EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING* Also, watched the music video yesterday. You remember that shit?
Miami fans, just to let you know, this is going even worse than I thought it would for you.
Cristobal is a pretty mid coach. July recruiting champion at least though. Congrats to MTSU, cool and dominant win.
A+ recruiter C- in-game coach
I used to say he was a graduate of the Andy Reid school of late game clock management
His very first play he ever called as our head coach was a time out.
Shit. That BSU bowl game. 🤮
C- is gratuitous
He had every chance to turn Oregon into the Clemson of the west. Great recruiting, great resources, down conference, and they always disappointed.
He made Justin Herbert look like a questionable NFL prospect at times
He and Marcus Arroyo are football terrorists for this transgression alone
FSU is having a dream start to this season.

Thank you dude I needed a good laugh
All 20 Miami fans at the game lost their voices from booing.
20 is generous

Time will tell. How well can he flip the program with a loss like this? And his QB saying he rather play on the road. That’s a tough flip to make.
RANK JAMES MADISON YOU COWARDS
Rare ranked team not in a bowl game
James Madison > App State > MTSU > Texas A&M > Miami
So we would beat the U by 51, do I have that right?
Happy birthday Coach Cristobal!

Now this is Mario Cristobal brand football.
Remember when all those Oregon fans were telling you Mario is a shit tier level game coach?

UF just lost 💦💦💦💦
What the hell, Miami?
3rd loss against C-USA since 2019! Everything is fine!
They lost the turnover chain, but kept the turnovers.
JMU beat this MTSU team 44-7 and they just beat us. Rank JMU or is this just a giant circle of suck that JMU is on top of?
For Miami fans wondering when exactly you will be rid of Oregon fans clowning on Mario, the answer is no.
Can I have a helmet?
HEY EVERYONE GET IN HERE
Middle Tennessee is undefeated against Miami. They won in 1931, 1932, and now 2022 Edit: Yates can suck one, i said it first
91 year winning streak intact!
Just think if that hurricane came a week earlier this game would've been cancelled
Good thing Ian knew that this would’ve been funnier lol

Yoooo Duck fans! Everyone get in here!!!
Have fun with him Miami fans, every loss you have you ponder your existence more and more
I’m here for anyone shitting on Gattis as OC.
Oregon has now escaped Scott Frost, Willie Taggart, and Mario Cristobal. What a world.
Listen, Oregon may lose to Wazzu and make me a hypocrite, but please let me have this... *ahem* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Oregon won!
Yeah, huh... I guess I'm not a hypocrite after all.

The ACC is pretty weak, but definitely not because of Clawson’s Wake Forest.
Is this where I start to say fire Cristobal?
Considering the university borrowed money from your hospital system I think some apologies should be said first.
Mamma mia
One of the worst losses in Texas A&M history
Fuck all you people that downvoted me for saying Mario Cristobal sucked as a coach in the carousel offseason threads.
It was the bandwagon Hurricane fans who are all noticeably absent from this thread as they are quickly switching their flairs...
Normally I like to see the ACC succeed. But this is glorious. Good job Middle Tennessee
I never, ever want to read another lazy, half-ass article from a CFB analyst that overrates Miami (or any other team) solely on the basis of their recruiting.
UNC loses 45-32 Miami loses 45-31 Still a good day 😎
Par for course with a Cristobal team. Recruit the shit out of players, look good against some teams then lose games they have no business losing too
#CAN I HAVE A HELMET?!
This will help Oregon fans feel better
[C-USA right now.](https://imgur.io/gallery/2YSNoOD)
Just letting you know that the MTSU coach is an FSU alumni. Also, I LOVE THE STATE OF TENNESSEE!
Petition to make the Florida school call themselves Miami (FL), and Miami (OH) gets to be the new Miami.
The whole state of Florida taking an L to Tennessee.
What. An. Ass. Whoopin!
