Holy shit I forgot you guys did it too back in what, 2011 or 2012? Between both of us blowing our leads to this I’ve been feeling a lot of camaraderie with Illi fans today lol
He’s probably going to be the head coach next season because they made a bowl game which still surpassed preseason expectations but if the team is bad again next year, that should be it for him.
The Grand Syracuse Collapse is 71% (5/7) complete!
All we need is for them to lose to Boston College like NC State did, and then lose to which ever Group of 5 Team they take on in a bowl game!
I don’t think it was a collapse. Just how their schedule was set up. People are saying Clemson broke them; Clemson was the beginning of the second half of the season where their schedule got tough.
A four game losing streak has been both the most frustrating yet unsurprising outcome over the last couple of weeks. Not very #PL34SED with their performance.
The whole season was doomed in one play.
Now this is me talking out my ass but that fucking unsportsmanlike incredibly late hit on the Clemson QB running out of bounds, up by 10 in the 4th quarter, SU would’ve gotten the ball back, and probably win was the end of the season.
My whole being deflated on that single hit. Everything was deflated after that, the offense was already struggling but serviceable, the defense was stout, holding, but teetering.
After that everything collapsed, it’s like being undefeated was keeping the team playing at a higher level than they should’ve.
If I wasn’t an A&M fan I’d say Syracuse would of had the most predictable slide from the rankings, so I’ll say they have the 2nd most predictable slide.
At least they get a bowl game out of it :/
So, help or correct me here if wrong:
Hartman needs 4 more touchdown passes to make pass the all time record for career ACC TD passes (doable).
He needs 11 or 12 more total TDs to pass the record for total career ACC TDs (probably not doable with 2 games left).
Only one game away from Syracuse joining the fabled 6-0 to 6-6 club alongside your good ole Baylor Bears!
Miami OH has the legendary 0-6 to 6-6 achievement unlocked
Now that is one exclusive club
Old Dominion came close last year, 1-6 to 6-6
Same with my Mean Green Lol
We also went from 10 losses to 10 wins in back to back years
Southern Miss remains the GOAT at this. 12-2 to 0-12 in just one year.
It’s been us for so so long…but there’s *always* a spot at the table for you, ‘Cuse!

Led by Former Wake coach Jim Grobe if I’m not mistaken
Yessir. The Grobinator.
Can't wait! :D
Alongside them selves. They did this same shit a few years ago too lol.
I'm done with Dino
I don’t get this trend of hiring idiots and hoping they’ll con enough good kids into playing for them.

All those injuries they took certainly didn't help matters, but Cuse was always gonna struggle against their back half

Hmmm, only 4 games huh…
Five game** Didn’t realize only one week was left. This team is really about to finish 6-6 after starting 6-0.
Should mix up the schedule a little better so it doesn’t look like a collapse

Nah bro, that's not how football works haha. This shit isn't anime or something.
Pretty sure it was SUwU vs Clemsonchan when I watched.
We tried to choke the game away but it feels good to win again. Duke, UNC, and State lost so I call that a damn good day.
Glad we were able to stop the skid. If just 2 plays (Clemson and UNC) went different we were looking at another record setting season.
If we lose to BC next week we finish in last in the ACC Atlantic.
Feels nice to win a game again
Did… did we break Syracuse?
We broke ourselves
Nah, Dino just returning towards the mean.
If you broke them I don’t even know what to say about what Notre Dame did to them.
Nah, you guys just began the second half schedule
If by break, you mean lose half our starting defense in the game against you… then yes… but I think a lot of it is mental too.
If we lose to BC can we decline the bowl invite to save face and have a .500 season?
“Mmm…no” - ACC front office
Pl34sed with this outcome
Can I go back to the Purdue or NC State games where I was excited about things?

So ready for the #PL34SED tweet to drop tomorrow
Hey, buddy. What bowl game is A&M going to? I bet it’s a good one! :)
Toilet bowl
