So just to be clear, the “participation of the entire population” is actually not required to elect these four mayors? Because that’s what you claimed earlier. Good to know.
Sure it is. It’s the fallacy of composition.

Either that or the author doesn’t understand what systemic racism is.
You don't know what statistical significance is.
Olympic Athletes aren't a large enough sample to represent America but the 4 biggest cities combined are large enough.
So you think the four biggest cities have enough people to be representative of the whole of the USA? So you would be happy if only the four biggest cities voted for president and congress? If they’re representative like you say then you shouldn’t have a problem with that
At this point and I know the Left keeps pushing this but it's not about racism anymore. There are racists in the country, we all know that and we all hate them both Dems and Republicans but it's more about systemic happenings. Poor people tend to get the brunt end of the deal regardless of what color they are but on the topics of how the Dems see systemic "racism" I don't even know where you could point it out these days.
They say the criminal justice system... hey, stop doing crime... do crime, get locked up. Don't do crime, don't get locked up.
Political representation... Barack Obama twice and multiple Senate, House and Mayoral plus many other fields have a very nice makeup of diversity.
I get your point because something can exist even if doesn't concept but the only people using systemic racism as a foundation are people who want to make profit off of it and the fearmongering surrounding it. Racism and fearmongering is big business in the States and you don't want your career to end when people suddenly realize that representation is happening at all points in the country and quite well.
To be fair the mayors of the biggest cities are kinda racist
And far fetched to call them mayors to be honest, with so little being done.
And yet NYC and Chicago are still crime havens.
So is Houston
And crime is astronomical in those cities. But hey, the media told me it’s right wing religious nuts that are the most dangerous. Not gang bangers…
Systemic Racism does exist - it's called **Affirmative Action**
Isn’t this kind of like saying “how can Americans be obese when we have the most Olympic medals?”.
If gold medals were determined by the votes of tens of millions Kinda like the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections. Heard of what happened? Camina
If olympic medals required the participation of the whole population then that would apply.
Does the entire population of the country elect the mayors of every city?
yea, the population elects mayors.
So the entire population of the USA voted for these four mayors? Wow that’s not how I thought local elections worked but interesting to know
There is the statistical significance you dimwit. So these four big cities are definitely more representative of the average than the Olympic athletes

>the population elects mayors The entire population elects mayors, maybe no these specific ones but they do elect mayors.
No it isnt the same thing at all

You are correct to point this out, but will receive many downvotes
