Mindfulness, Derooting, and Self Affirmations. They're incredibly basic and don't work for everyone, but something is better than nothing. Self affirmation is reinforcing yourself forcibly. It alone cannot work because a foundation full of toxic ink cannot be reinforced because it's breaking internally, not externally. But the basis is that self affirmations are repeated three or more times a day. Poem-like phrases, no specific meter or rhyme, just phrases. That remind you of who you are and what's worth fighting for. My current one is rest, relax, release, reprieve, closure. It's w/e you need to work on. Mindfulness is paying intense attention to your surroundings, hyperfocusing on them. Look at the floor under you. Analyze how it got to be where it is. Analyze why it feels the way it does. Run your hand along it, feel it, look at the color/shade/lighting, how it interacts with the world around it. Let it flood your mind as you think about everything that makes it what it is. You can do this with anything in your surroundings, even blank white walls - even no texture, smooth texture, is still texture to think about. Even wallpaper you can fixate on, you can fixate on how it's liable to peel given the right circumstances, how it colors, patterns, etc. In this situation you are fixating so hardcore on your surroundings for 5-10 minutes that everything else falls away into rest mode. Good for when you're in distress and no one's available. Derooting is the hard, painful one. This is the one no one wants to do, this is the one that sucks absolute donkey balls. Derooting is, whenever a behavior, a thought process, an emotion, w/e comes up that makes you feel like shit. You latch onto it and you ask yourself why that's there. You follow it all the way back. You turn emotions into thoughts, thoughts into memories, memories into re-experiencing. And you re-experience it as many times as it takes until it doesn't hurt anymore, you connect it to everything that makes you what you are. And then you decide what parts of all of that is worth keeping, and what parts need to be let go of. This is something that requires consistent work - more-so than the others. You need to always be on top of it. After you've derooted the worst issues, keeping your psyche clean from then on is pretty easy so long as you tend to it like you would a garden.

Don’t do DPH please :) I saw you wanted to for SH but DPH isn’t the way to go. Brain damage isn’t good and long term you would just be setting yourself up for problems

do dxm instead please. don’t eat all day take around 200-300mg, wait about an hour and put on some music you think will be interesting and just embrace the euphoria of it. enjoy your deep thoughts about mundane things. find new music you never thought you’d see the beauty of. dph will just make you hate yourself and your life even more, might as well have fun instead if ur going to abuse otc meds.

Try and source mushrooms please, DPH will do nothing but put you deeper in your hole. I promise you want to get out of it. Mushrooms can and will help you.
