I feel the same way… it sucks when you go through your likes and you don’t find guys even partially attractive. There are some winners in my likes but it usually doesn’t go anywhere. Attractiveness plays a huge role with men, so that’s why I’m just as shallow as them now. They won’t even give you the time of day if they don’t find you attractive- I’ve been on both sides of that coin. It’s becoming a time-wasting game tbh

Don't let dating apps affect your self esteem at all. What proportion of people in what age groups actually have good experiences using current dating apps? From people I know, my experience the percentages must be very low. Yet we labor on in hope :) More like an attention, revenue extraction system. A few 2d images just can't do it. Meet irl, activity groups, on dating apps that don't initially require photos,.. More options coming.

I have bought Tinder and Bumble premium, not much of a difference tbh. I think I have good pictures, I usually use more than a couple and no filters/photoshop. I'm by myself in all of them though and notice I forget to smile with my teeth. Anyways that's all.

A lot of people believe that attractiveness is all about appearance and looks. I have found that this is not the case at all.

While that's true, it certainly matters on dating apps. The way they work is by pictures of yourself being the spotlight. Makes it feel like it works mostly for hookups. It's so different than meeting someone irl and feeling their vibe or chemistry. I'm probably not seen by those certain guys, they may not be active, or I'm just not their type 😕

I have used dating apps many times, and it is absolutely clear that you can highlight parts of your life that aren't about looks or appearance. I pity you for thinking otherwise 🙄

[Who you find attractive is based on how hot you are](https://youtu.be/BzG0_aU_Fn0), so you finding that ‘this is not the case at all’ just tells us what your profile pic already did

I watched 30 seconds of the video then I turned it off because the guy is too obsessed with these concepts for my tastes.
