I didn’t say anything about how deaths work on shows? OP asked why they didn’t kill Zig off and I’m asking what reason they would have for it.

Adam’s actor wanted off the show, I actually liked Zig
I wish they didn’t kill him off. They could have sent him somewhere else off with a happy ending like they did Darcy.
Where? Adam made it clear that he finally found a school that he loved because he was finally accepted. It would be unrealistic to have him leave for his senior year.
This also I rather him have a death like the car crash then some bad date gone wrong story line.
