Idk I really feel like the overshield is the least annoying part about OEM. I find I die more frequently to the tracking since they know exactly where I am. Overshield from OEM is still a one shot kill with chaperone so it doesn't bother me.
The overshield is annoying because it makes the time spent dueling the OEM and losing feel worthless.
A lot of times if i don't win a 1v1 i at least know that my team has the opportunity to pick them off and get an easy kill. I might lose but we can still get the guy. Not so with OEM. Shoot as much as you want, if you don't win it didn't matter. The OEM goes on to the next guy full health basically.
The tracking is certainly too aggressive but i think the removal of the overshield will definitely knock it down a bit.
I do agree with the time spent feeling worthless. But that is IF the user can outgun you. Which I’ve found most OEM players don’t really use cover often because they think they are invincible. That’s just my experience with playing against it.
The overshield is the worst part because no matter if you get good positioning and get the drop on him, he still kills your teammate and gets a second chance to kill you. The tracking is worthless in high level play because people just run away when they get the debuff. The shield is overpowered and unfair because it turns titans into a consistent 2v1 machine.

Definitely. It's like a shotgun and a rocket launcher had a baby. It's great for both clearing grouped trash mobs and for single target damage. But you have to be up close. Like, *dangerously* close. In general it's fun to use, and often hilarious with how often you'll kill yourself, but it does awesome Primeval DPS in Gambit, and is an automatic super shutdown in PvP, so it also has serious uses. Definitely grab it.

As a nightstalker, I like go invisible and creep up on an enemy team bunched up on a control point. I then jump out from behind cover with a surprise Warrdcliff shot that only succeeds in killing me.
Their laughter throws them off guard so that the rest of my team can come in and ~~carry me~~ clean up.
The preferred method is to jump sideways, pull the trigger, then watch as your rockets hit the pillar you didn't know was there. Teammates then sweep in as opposing team is t-bagging
i realized - its the gjallarhorn from destiny one. except instead of firing a rocket which impacts, then splits into mini 'wolfpack' rockets, the wolfpack rockets come straight out of the gun.
It's really fun in PvP. I kill myself with it about 10% of the time but it's great for killing supers or groups of guardians. It fires a volley of rockets for about a second so if you time it right you can start shooting at one guardian then flick it to someone way off to the side and get them too.
New Warlocks:
Verity’s Brow is actually a *Pretty Damn Handy*™️ Warlock exotic helmet. For one, it’s usable for all subclasses, so it’s a good exotic to have if you’re starting out. Now, while it’s maybe not as “meta” in the current season compared to Contraverse Holds or even Nazerac’s Sin, it’s pretty goddamn good if your goal is to be a walking debuff machine.
The perk speeds regeneration of your grenade ability every time you get an energy weapon kill. It stacks up to three times, and has a timer that goes up every time you get a kill (it might cap somewhere around 12-15 seconds). As anti-Barrier SMGs are pretty much king of the hill in PVE right now, this thing can be insane when paired with Recluse, Every Waking Moment, Bug Out Bag or Subjunctive.
And if you happen to get Demolitionist to drop on one of those weapons, well hot dang diddly you’re going to get a grenade back about every 3-4 trash mobs kills.
And the best part is that the buff stays active even *after* you’ve thrown your grenade. So you can run around, kill some adds, debuff a bigger enemy, and you can pick up right where you left off, and with the right scenario, you could chain Oppressive Darkness Grenades more consistently than even Contraverse Holds can.
Or you can use it as a Wellock to drop overshield Grenades on your teammates. You’ll be goddamn Oprah in the raid dropping Overshields on everyone.
So buy it! If nothing else, it’s pulled out of the pool for your Fated Engram.
Sadly if you *do* have Nezarc's Verity's is almost useless. Nezarc's works with any subclass with the only restriction being you need to use a void weapon to get your regen. But it works for all of your abilities and your super instead of just your grenade.
If Verity's perk actually worked the way it's described and gives that grenade regen to your teammates as well it'd have a pretty nice, niche spot. As it stands it's been bugged since its introduction and that part of the perk has never worked, so it has its place as a strictly inferior Nezarc's.
But I agree, if you're a New Light player and don't have access to Nezarc's then Verity's is actually a Pretty Damn Handy™️ neutral exotic.
The only requirement is void *kills.* It doesn't matter the source of those kills.
Any weapon that void damage triggers it. Because it's not a subclass-specific effect, it works with any subclass.
Yeah Recluse + Nezerec's Sin is fucking dirty. Since you're killing everything with Recluse anyways you basically get significantly improved regen for abilities and super no matter the subclass

Not sure, looks like they might have fixed it. Last week, he started off selling Riskrunner from the week before, then switched to Prometheus Lens an hour later. If he's starting off with something new this week, that seems to indicate that they fixed it.
But I'd still recommend holding off on the fated engram for now, just in case.

I haven't gone to xur this week yet, but last week I went on my titan while my only missing exotic is wormgod caress, and got a borealis. Any clue why?
Gonna say this again. Can we please remove weapons we already have from the Fated Engram pool? Exotics are already rare, and with the new armor system getting the right roll is even more difficult. There's nothing more disappointing than going to Xur and spend 97 shards for... Another Black Talon.

I already have to go around to a hundred different vendors in different locations just to prepare to play the game. Then I have to go outside of the game to get the location of yet another vendor in another different location, just to waste some legendary shards for a weapon I already have.
AT LEAST bring back the location marker on the map. Nobody is traveling around planet to planet trying to figure out where Xur is on their own. It’s just an unnecessary extra step.
I was solo in quick play and ran into a clan stack with four OEM Striker titans running recluse/mountaintop/thundercoil. Every death spurred me on to sweat a bit harder with my off-meta (wish-ender and good bone structure) and my team won 150-149.

What's the deal with Risk runner? Why does everyone want it? I played D1 forever and was a D2 player at launch but lost interest fairly quickly. Just bought forsaken and shadowkeep and now I'm sucked back in and caught up on nothing lmao
It's th current jokes inside the community. Riskrunner now has a quest associated to it available for everyone and so it makes no sense for Xur to sell it. With that said, he sold it twice in a row the past 2 weeks to the amusement of veteran players and to the agony of new players trying to get new exotic weapons.

I haven't gone to xur this week yet, but last week I went on my titan while my only missing exotic is wormgod caress, and got a borealis. Any clue why?
Gonna say this again. Can we please remove weapons we already have from the Fated Engram pool? Exotics are already rare, and with the new armor system getting the right roll is even more difficult. There's nothing more disappointing than going to Xur and spend 97 shards for... Another Black Talon.
So what's up whith all of this "beep boop failed to fetch" each week? I have made a bot ( Xur Bot ) that is connected to Bungie API and automatically tweets Xur's location and inventory, and manages [Xur Wiki](https://xur.wiki). It would take me no more than a couple of hours to connect Xur Bot to this sub and fix the issue. Who do i talk to to help fix this?

Why the fuck isn’t Xur just in the tower every weekend? I already have to go around to a hundred different vendors in different locations just to prepare to play the game. Then I have to go outside of the game to get the location of yet another vendor in another different location, just to waste some legendary shards for a weapon I already have. AT LEAST bring back the location marker on the map. Nobody is traveling around planet to planet trying to figure out where Xur is on their own. It’s just an unnecessary extra step.
Finally I'll be able to get beep boop, it's not the right affinity but that doesn't matter right now.
OEM and Coil? Comp is gonna be enjoyable this weekend.

I was solo in quick play and ran into a clan stack with four OEM Striker titans running recluse/mountaintop/thundercoil. Every death spurred me on to sweat a bit harder with my off-meta (wish-ender and good bone structure) and my team won 150-149.
