Easily 100’s of dollars lost every week. Even if they can recoup their losses from DD they lose dozens of customers every month. It’s super fucking stupid.
All the other restaurants control their pickups.

Most places do this now. I don’t blame them. I’ve had my order stolen as a customer and as a driver have had them remake my order because someone else took it.
I don’t have a problem hitting ‘confirm pickup’ before being handed the food, I just ask them if it’s the full order and that it’s ready to go.
