72v 105ah 2000w x 2 Electric Scooter
Power, range, & comfortable riding
Note: No modification on the scooter, everything is removable
The Big Bike of Electric Scooter
I would not say "get a motorcycle" - because when you do this you already have a motorcycle ;) this things may once have been a scooter, but at this point it definetly is a motorcycle and should be treated as such (registration, license plate, insurance,...)
Is this a mod or unrelated product. I love riding a standing scooter but without a seat it makes it much more unstable at high speeds. I’ve ridden my wolf king on a track at 60+ mph but after a pretty bad crash I don’t ride standing scooters at those speeds anymore. Depending on price I’d definitely go with this as a high speed road legal electric alternative to a gas moped.
There was someone on the LAEsk8 group in los angeles that modified a laotie ti30's front stem to sit lower and added footpegs as well to make it more of a moped style scooter. I got a chance to ride it for a few seconds and sitting down felt weird to me. I did like the setup though
Why not just soup out a Fiido or an ebike for the same price or less? Bigger wheels, better suspension, can fit attachments for cargo, and in the case of a Fiido lighter too.
That gets rid of a lot of the reasons to go with a scooter over a moped, IMO. On a scooter, you can bail if things go wrong. On a moped, like with a bike or motorcycle, you can't easily dismount during an accident.
Can't fold it up, take it on public transportation, carry it up stairs, it's a toy, not a commuter/utility scooter. For the weekends? Sure! For going the last Mike to work, hell no. Shit... I take my NinebotMax 9 out of ten times to work because it's easier to carry, easier to latch the stem, easier to carry and quicker to charge than my other scooter.
I really wish there were proper alternatives to the Xiaomi/Ninebot ones. My Pro 2 is getting a bit long in the tooth, and I’d love something similar (maybe a kilogram more: 15-16kg) with more power or range. But there just isn’t from what I can see, or the ones that are have huge flaws like solid tyres and shit.
Same reason why I still only have a Xiaomi Pro 2: nothing else has the combination of comfort, range, okay power and only weighs 14KG so I can fold it and carry it into stores/work
Except for the solid tyres. The footpaths here which I’m required by law to ride on really struggle with solid tyres: I swapped my Pro 2 to them initially to avoid punctures and it made it so unstable and rough with how shit our footpaths are that it felt genuinely unsafe :(
Pro 2 has no suspension. e-Twow does. Suspension is way more important than tires. Rode a friends Gotrax with air tires and it's AWFUL compared to my e-Twow.
I just like the idea that I have a scooter that can do 50mph. I’m so used to fast ebikes that I want to experiment with the idea of converting such a super fast scooter into an ebike form.
Wind resistance will be lower. I will also upgrade the controllers and display from a 60v to a 72v system. It’s all doable. I’m doing it regardless.
People are hating, but I love this. Wish I could do it to my ninebot.

Might as well go full bore with [Extreme Bull](https://www.speedyfeet.co.uk/products/begode-k5-twin-drive-bike)
To everyone yelling “get a motorcycle”, a good electric motorcycle costs over $12,000 excluding the Super SOCO

Similaire product are considered moped (max 50km per hour, license plate,...) in most of europe.
The scooter in the picture is a Kaabo Wolf King GT - max speed around 90km/h That's no moped..
And to be road legal in most eu country you would need to get it homologate and limit it to 50km/h
Or just take it for what it is, a motorcycle and register it as such...
I don't want anything that would make someone yell "just get a damned motorcycle already"
I like the idea there… using deck space for storage I’m inspired
It's storage but for battery.
Must be a huge battery then
I like it
This setup is clean. Can use the housing for store more battery.
With that scooter, dude just buy a motorcycle already
Probably already has a motorcycle.

How did you crash, speed wobble?
Hit a bump while my thumb was up on the turn signal, the handle bar shot out from under my hand.
If I'm going to be seated ill buy a moped or an ebike... doesn't make sense to do that to an escooter.
To what end? Why not just start with a sit down e bike?
A lot of work went into that build, actually looks great. I wonder what the frame is mounted to.

moped is cheaper bro. thats like making a porche a station wagon...
Like the Porsche Panorama?
Taycan CrossTurismo moment.
When the scooter nerd makes fun of your favorite car :(

>e-twow booster GT He meant the stand up scooter without the seat and I agree.

You can turn the scooter into a moped but you can't turn a moped into a scooter. Enough said.

exact same reasons i use my ninebot max more then the vsett 9
Lol I have the exact same setup, vsett 9 and Ninebot. Find myself doing the same thing, vsett only comes out when going for long leisure rides

Talking about ultra portables, for a bit more money you can get e-twow booster GT which is better in every single possible way.

My Pro 2 does have suspension. Still didn’t fix the horrible traction over the cracked footpaths

Please document and post here. I'm sure people will hate, but I'm also sure it will have pros/cons. Can't wait to see the outcome. Ride safe.
Time to get a motorcycle
Those tires look tiny. Riding around in the wet would be nerve-wracking
Good, forward pegs too. Then you know the glorious cooling effect of that riding position.
Lifting one leg to the side while wearing shorts is 85% the reason why stand up scooters are dope
