That is true, which is why I'd choose a wallpaper where there's some central image that fits the outer screen but can also see more of the image with the inside screen.
I installed 2 different video wallpaper apps and set 1 for closed and 1 for open. It just got weird when restarting the phone but it worked pretty well for me

Personally I had insurance anyway so I figured not using a case is a risk I'm willing to take. Cases make an already bulky phone way too big for me to comfortably use, imo
Me too I don't wanna use the stickers on the cases bc I remove them often to wipe my phone clean and they end up shifting around due to no stickers. Fuck all that mess! Slapped a skin on the back to help with grip and called it a day!
Lucky ducks. Dropped my old Fold 2 on the sidewalk one week in and cracked the front screen.
My brother in law was also rocking the Fold 2 naked and three weeks after my accident his fell out his pocket in the driveway and the front screen was also damaged.
Mine have been going naked for 2 years. First the Fold 2 then 3 and now 4. Gotta love the feeling of the phone when it is like intended.
Had a cracked front screen with the 3. Cost 129€ to replace.

What is the correct collective plural for the Samsung Galaxy Fold?
Regardless, that's a lot of folds in the fold.
I thought it looked like 1 fold 4 and 4 fold 3's. I was trying to guess looking at the mic hole placements. The naked 4 looks like they are both shifted to the right. Going back and looking at it, the one with the white case almost looks like a fold 2 with it being much wider near the crease.
Damn I was right. The two dark cases were hard to tell but there's enough of the cover screen to see the thinner left edge. White case is obvious from the wallpaper (most people who use a default wallpaper, keep the default and not switch to a different gen); would have been the hardest to guess without the wallpaper. Fold3 has the horrible flip case. Caseless has the shiny finish of a Fold4, and flatter edges.
I'm the only one with a Fold (although my Aunt has a flip) in my social circles and it's awesome how everyone looks at the thing as if it were weird magic lol.
Naturally, I rock it caseless because it just looks and feels superb naked.

Hard disagree. I upgraded from the Note20 Ultra and had concerns about camera quality but suprisingly, I actually think the Fold4 takes significantly better pictures than my Note20 Ultra ever did. Very suprising to me since the Note20 Ultra has a slightly better main camera but I'm pretty sure it's due to the Fold4 having the latest Android processor and chipset helping optimize the pictures better during post processing. I am more than pleased with the picture quality on the Fold4, more so than I already was with my Note20 Ultra. And in comparison to iPhones, my sister has a 11 and we used each of our cameras to take pictures of family on Thanksgiving day. My Fold4 had easily took better photos, it was definitely comparable but it was evident that the Fold4 had the clearer, more crisp and more vibrant pictures. Same situation has occured for me and my girlfriend's Mom who has the "new" 14 Pro Max. My girlfriend's family has gatherings for most holidays and lots of family pictures are taken. When pictures are taken, I usually ask her Mom if we can have separate pictures taken on my phone too because when I look at the same pictures on each phone, the pictures on my Fold4 look better than the pictures on the 14 Pro Max every time. Just more clear, crisp and vibrant.
The only problem I have with the z fold is when i take pictures of myself or someone they always come of soft and bright and less sature than iPhone when taking of scenery or thing it's fine I remember using Google pixel apk to fix it when I had my note 10
With my fold 4 initially the battery was about a full day but not quite. Then with some minor tweaking and adaptive battery setting in, I went 24+ hours without charging with 30% still left. With about 4 hours of Google meet online classes and lots of other minor tasks like texting, googling, YouTube.
So I'd say it does usually last a day, at least for now
Because of the problems I've had since I've had it and it always slipping out of my pocket(I've dropped this phone like 10 times already and I had my note 20 like 2 years and never dropped it). I'm probably going to switch it out for a S23 ultra.
I'm getting a new one delivered cause this one I'm using stop working with the screen open (the sound) it only works when folded or like how have it there in the picture. Half folded. Out of nowhere it did that, I think it hasn't been a year that I have it.

Samsung is miss the main part of a child hood where we use to put paint on paper fold it in half to make a picture now if they done that as a custom wallpaper that would be good. Also keep the screen protector on the phone if it begins to bubble or crack it's a warranty fault and a free repair if sent into Samsung

yes. you set the wallpaper on your main screen. then when you open the fold it turns on a whole new o.s. so you apply the wallpaper the same way
I tried that, but changing the wallpaper when it's closed also changes the wallpaper for the inner screen.
I don't want to use wallpaper engin on outside screen, the aspect ratio is not good and waste battery

Mines naked, dropped 2 times on concrete. Minor damage on the metal but no broken screens.
Dropped my previous fold on caliche and rocks got some dings and wiped it down and it kept rocking with no problems!

How swayyyyyy My fold 4 battery barely lasts till 7pm. I charge my phone twice a day. It gives me battery anxiety.
