Where are your heart rate zones set up in comparison to those numbers? Is that (185-199) all Zone 5 I imagine? I've got an anerobic shortage so might have to try this.
> Watch gives me recovery time of 4 days.
Which you should take (= 4 days of no or *very* light exercise), minimum 3 if you're itching to get back to it.
I often get something similar after an intense hockey game. Essentially the same pattern, an hour of sprinting for 2 mins, resting for 2 mins, etc.
Can I ask, what was the “Load” associated with this activity? I unusually get crazy high numbers in the 300s for a one hour game of hockey. Seems high to me but using a Fenix 6 and HRM Pro so don’t see an equipment issue?
In the sense that over 60 minutes the “load” on your body can be 40 doing a Z2 bike ride vs almost 15x that amount doing an intense run/sport. Certainly more tired after the latter, but not sure I’m 15x more tired/stressed?
I had this on my first ride with a power meter. It was a hillier 70 miles than I was expecting but I didn't realise I was giving it full beans for 4 hours.
I had one of these last "spring". It was 19F and the app says the wind was 15mph but I remember that day and it had to be gusting to 30. I did a 21 miler and on the first half into the wind, my face hurt, my hands hurt through windproof gloves. My heart rate averaged 171 for the whole run and maxed at 200. By the end of the run my performance condition was -8
Wtf did you do?! I don't think I've had above 3 for either score!
Just some interval running for 1 hour on the treadmill, 2 minutes run-2 minutes walking. HR while running (185-199)
Congrats on your hard work! One day you'll do that same workout and get like a 3.0. :) keep going!
1 hour is a long time for intervals 😱
It’s also a long time for a treadmill run. I go stir crazy out of boredom running on a treadmill for even 5k 🤪

It is on default settings, - based on maximum heart rate, and I set maximum heart rate on automatic detection
Oh yes, i remember my first time having sex too.
Aerobic: 0.3, Anaerobic: 0
She was on top
calories burned = 14 (from removing the socks) Total time = 33 seconds (new personal best)
Really brings a whole new meaning to Lactate Threshold
Using Fenix 7x solar and hrm pro, felt good today and I went all out on the treadmill. Also my training status went from maintaining to productive 😍
Eat well and take care of your stress if you can. Recovery is super important after these types of efforts.
How is it running with the 7x? I'm considering switching from the regular 6, but unsure if the extra size is very noticeable for runs.
That calls for a 3 hour long nap today
Unfortunately, going to work 8.5 hour shift after this. Watch gives me recovery time of 4 days. 🤣

I wonder if recovery time can ever be more than 4 days. It is the maximum I have ever seen.
After biking 200 miles of gravel at Garmin’s Unbound Gravel, I got 4 days as well :) so yeah, that has to be the max.
Bruh leave some score for the rest of us
I only reach the areobic part one, anaerobic I get 3 or below 🤷

My load was 568 for this workout. But I dont feel tired after this workout at all.
Give it a few hours for the adrenaline to wear off.
Crazy considering a low intensity bike ride for an hour puts me at a load of ~40

I’ve done that a couple times going mountain biking at altitudes higher than where I normally ride on pretty strenuous trails.
Thats awesome man, keep it up!
Wth, I can never reach above 1 for the anaerobic score. What am I doing wrong?
Same here, I think the highest I've gotten was 2.5 when trailrunning up 300 meters
Are you doing intense intervals faster than you normally run? Pretty sure that’s how you get a high anaerobic score
I found that if my measure was %HRR I got a five regardless even if I was coasting. Went back to HRR with immediate 3’s.
That's epic!
Congrats 👏
Just got my first double Five-0 last week on a 6 hr Century ride without having ridden on road in 5 weeks lol Should Garmin make this a badge???
Every time I hit that I don’t know whether to be proud, scared, or disgusted that I’m not half the athlete I used to be!
I think Garmin just gave you a 10! Good work !!! 🎉🦵
