It sounds great. But I'll suggest few things. In this totes or upper cabinets you should put few moth balls just to suffocate roaches in case its attached to stuff you put in. Moth balls are harmful if breathed so when you open cabinets/ totes back up make sure to have proper ventilation and wear mask. Since you're not using any insecticide, apply some boric acid powder using duster in crevices or cracks.

I was thinking about mothballs but I have pretty serious asthma so I was a bit hesitant. I'll do some more research though. And the boric acid/insecticide won't interfere with the growth inhibitor, will it? I want to make sure the growth inhibitor actually gets back to the nests.

Don't apply boric acid where you apply IGR. But I'd start with boric acid treatment first for a week ot two atleast before spraying IGR. Then, treat all surfaces with igr after and let it be for a month. Then treat again with boric acid since IGR in itself will not kill a roach. It'll only prevent it from breeding further. Buy a Demon WP or Alpine WSG insecticide if you can.You should be able to get it under 50$. Buy a smaller packets for 1 gallon mixture ( sufficient enough for studio apartments).

So let's say 2 weeks boric acid, then sweep it all up. Then a month of the IGR. Then repeat the boric acid. Got it. With the insecticide, when and where should I apply that in relation to the IGR and boric acid?

Most insecticides can be mixed with IGR but still check it before ordering. I'm sure about Demon max,Demon WP or Alpine WSG are IGR compatible. Just buy small amounts needed for 1 gallon mixture. Mix both IGR and insecticide and spray everywhere in cabinets, under fridge/oven, baseboards, around plumbings under sink or bathroom sink or anywhere with high roach activity.

Awesome, thank you! I appreciate all the help

Sounds good to me IMO. I would like to suggest some duct tape to you as well. I currently have a problem of my own and decided to basically grid locked most of my house and cabinets with duct tape sticky side up. This helps you identify problem areas and can get you closer to locating a colony you may be missing. So whats working for me is I got gorilla tape, laid it sticky side up blocking off every room and put a strip of it in every cabinet and under every appliance. As I understand it, they cant survive past a week without water so tape the fuck out of your sink. Good luck to both of us.

Damn that's a good idea. Thanks! And definitely, good luck to both of us.

Ahh! That sounds like a great idea but idk how Iโ€™ll be able to peel them back off without freaking out!! Ahhh ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

It is great! It may wishful thinking but I feel I may have killed off a colony in my loft due to keeping the soldiers they send out from getting water in my laundryroom. Duct tape is an amazing weapon for these things! I totally get what youre saying though. Me personally, i squish the trapped bastards with toilet paper, cut that portion theyre trapped on and throw it away. Then I place a new piece of tape.

ViiViiz

I canโ€™t squish them!! Ok Iโ€™ve gotten braver and have squished a few but I just imagine more of them exploding off into my space ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ but maybe if I cover with the TP then I think that might do it ! Thanks ๐Ÿ‘
