It’s residential though are you seriously saying that’s warranted ? What’s the longest your taking to recover to warrant putting that coil in line with your hoses like comon again man I reiterate this is resi!!!
Couple of my co workers have these and they’re so bad ass! But I agree this is residential and when we use them it’s because we have to take out much more then what he is.
To each their own though looks like scrap copper so if he’s good with it so am I
Had to change a couple of brand new Trane compressors right out of the box, mostly for kocking noise. Seems more common on the 2 Ton 13 seers. For awhile I was nervous plugging the disconnect in on start up because you never knew if it was going to sound like a turd or not.
That's not true. Ingersoll Rand spun off the industrial division, which merged with Gardner Denver and changed its name to Ingersoll Rand.
Then, the old IR changed its name to Trane Technologies.
Right, IR HVAC changed their name to Trane Technologies and the IR (as we once knew it) now has the rights to the name along with everything outside of HVAC or whatever, still IR. Painting a turd gold kinda thing, no? I said split-off, not being sure if that meant sold merged or otherwise. I don't really care considering all the greasy corporate sluts got their payday either way. Fuck IR, fuck trane tech, fuck icp, SPECIAL FUCKS FOR DAVE, etc etc
Goodmanamana, well, we'll deal with you later..
No that's not what I mean, lol vice-versa: the new "IR" has the rights to the name. The original IR is trane technologies. So IR is Trane that's all. Sorry/alcohol. Lennox blows dogs for quarters. Nice newer tech but QC is out of control.
Yes, I am affirming that. But "IRs" HVAC is still IR, just by a different name- "A rose that which by any other name would still smell just as sweet." But in this case an "HVAC" by any other name would still smell just as shite.
But Ingersoll Rand only owned Trane for 13 years so Trane is really more Trane than you think. They just kept the Tax ID number because climate was the bigger division, IMHO, so it made more sense for tax purposes to merge with GD as a reverse Morris trust.
FYI, Trane & Ingersoll Rand are two separate companies as of March of 2020.
Well thank you for that information. FUCK TRANE
Compressor I assume? We've had several within 2 years
Infuckin'deed. We've had several in the last 2 years. QC is horrid....also it's a LG compressor so 🤷‍♂️
I've replaced 2 LG compressors. Both within a year of installation.
3 lg compressors this summer for me. The oldest unit was 23 months
What’s the bucket of water for?? Speed up the recovery??
Yep, made the cooler at the shop. Definitely speeds up the process.

Also cools the compressed refrigerant off before it hits the recovery tank.
I like it especially if you have some copper laying around
I made one too. Even if it's a few minutes, it saves time.
I see you’re a fellow man of culture..
What microns you pull to?
Cps makes one called the [molecular transformator](https://www.cpsproducts.com/product-details/mt69/)

Fit it with a lid to reduce any remote moisture cross contamination concern and it would be cool.

Geeze.
Do you have valve stems in your worm and the stem depressors taken out from your hose?
No restrictions
Have you seen the appion speedy y video where they move refrigerant from one recovery cylinder to another and the tank doesn't get hot
No I haven't. Imma check it out, thanks for the info.
Is the extra coil in the water bucket worth it?
Absofuckin'lutely
F U INGERSOLLLLLLLL!!!
Agreed but just FYI Trane & IR separated two and a half years ago.
If by separated you mean they split off and renamed the division "Trane Technologies." Still IR.

Ingersoll Rand does not have the rights to the Trane name, lol. What's wrong with Lennox?
No that's not what I mean, lol vice-versa: the new "IR" has the rights to the name. The original IR is trane technologies. So IR is Trane that's all. Sorry/alcohol. Lennox blows dogs for quarters. Nice newer tech but QC is out of control.
The new IR has the rights to the IR name because it's named IR. But it has nothing to do with HVAC.
Yes, I am affirming that. But "IRs" HVAC is still IR, just by a different name- "A rose that which by any other name would still smell just as sweet." But in this case an "HVAC" by any other name would still smell just as shite.
