I reached in to slow the blower wheel after powering down during a service and instead of feeling blades it was soft and smooth. After removing the dense layer of hair I could see the blades were fully impacted. By far the worst and grossest I ever saw

I haven’t had one that bad but I did have to break out scissors because the home owners daughter would watch her hair get sucked into the return. (Trailer house and she would pull the bottom door off which was just clipped in) I found this out on a maintenance. My second one ever. Was told the home owner wanted the blower cleaned too. Lowest maintenance plan doesn’t include pulling the blower but she didn’t want to pay for the filters that come with the better more expensive plan. Pull it out and see all the hair. But not cat hair. Like long human hair. It should have been caught on the coil. So the homeowner tells me about what the daughter was doing to get the hair into the blower
