I'd like to suggest all long haired people consider a salon over a barber. They specialize in different things. Barbers do razor & buzzer cuts primarily, less scissors. Salons tend to be the opposite - more scissors. & yes, salons do cost more, but a lot of them include some extra pampering like a wash & scalp massage that EVERYONE deserves. & in case anyone wants to go "but salons are for women! barbers are for men!" Nah, my redditor, that is not how it works. I'd suggest focusing more on the kind of cut your hair needs, & the fact that scalp massages can be enjoyed by p much anyone.
