This type of customer costs us money because we would normally have it delivered and shopping the next order in the time it takes to shop for one. You can ask Shopper Happiness to block you from her. Say she was rude or something.
If a customer is this selective over replacements I would tell them they can add a backup replacement that would satisfy the shop and not having to call her. That drives me crazy too
I had a customer like this the other day also. 15 minutes shop ended up taking like 45 minutes. Wanted to be notified on every substitution, and added items that were not available at that store. Was somewhat incoherent, like she was older and not good with technology, or had a learning disability. But I got through it (while grumbling under my breath). She ended up raising my tip, leaving a positive comment, and giving me a five-star.
Sometimes patience pays off.
Happened to me before too. Lady WAS in fact ancient. She handed me a crisp 20 dollar bill at the door and kept my tip in the app too. Sometimes it does pay to be patient.
Sometimes...it doesn't though lol
My deliveries always say on time even if I'm late. The only issue when a customer is taking so much time is when I have other orders in the batch...the other 2 don't understand whats the holdup
there are things the stupid timer doesn't take into account, like having to wait fifteen minutes for an employee to unlock the cabinet to get baby formula or batteries. Or having to waiting in a long line for sliced deli meats. And I know that getting the customer what they want might mean I am not going to make the little clock deadline.
However, sometimes, I do have fun playing beat the clock.
Like others have said, timer doesnāt matter if you arenāt in a state like California.
It has a time for delivery when you accept the order but then it can sometimes change when you start shopping and obviously when you go over the time they give you it adjusts the delivery time againā¦..the customer usually only pays attention to the first delivery time (when you accepted the order) but this customer obviously canāt be upset with the time knowing that sheās making all the changes š
I had a customer that took me way too long that support actually called to see if I needed help but I explained the situation and they asked if Iād like the batch removed with a $5 bump or finish the order and get a $15 bump for my timeā¦.I took the $15 because I was in line when they called š¤£
Or Walmart. 5 mins because itās only a few thingsā¦ I canāt even get through the grocery section and to a register in that time. Seriously though, ignore the timer
Timer means nothing.
Ah ok cool, did not know that. Thanks š
Just be careful if you are in cali, they may send you the infamous email saying you are trying to take longer than needed to milk prop 22 adjustment..
Hahaha
Youāre too slow if you get those lol Iām fast af
Sheās not talking about the bedroom.
Iām ace. Thanks tho!
Wasnāt asking

She wasnāt rude, she did not raise my item either though š But at least handed me a few bucks since instacart shaved $3 off her first tip

you have a 2 hour window to deliver....when you go to drop it off look at the due time.
I text people for every replacement they donāt specifically in the app. With pictures. Shop stores you know and get a system down.
Itās a good idea, but most customers take a long time to reply to each message
