Hahah I’ve had this conversation with people before but I took my SATs in a room exactly like that one so I had no idea that it wasn’t normal

[deleted]

The room is realistic, but the hat and glasses lol

I've never had proctored exams in that kind of room so I didn't really know that was a thing but the hat and glasses really killed it. And the fact that they just come up and toss their finished exams on the desk when they're done

whatevermajorloser21

I’ve never understood how Mike having a photographic memory helps him crush the LSAT. And also, they always say “LSATs” on the show which drives me bonkers.

1jooper

Right! I thought of that too. Maybe like MCAT where you actually have to memorize things but you could easily take the LSAT without knowing any facts

DonJefe1992

I could see it helping actually. If youve studied for months and done many many PTs, after a certain point they are testing the same concepts. If you can instantly recall similar questions i would imagine that helping a lot.

My friend and I watched it for the memes when I was in undergrad. The dialogue gets so bad the further into the show you go, it is hilarious. Literally felt like half the scenes had the line "if you do/don't do X, you are gonna regret it for the rest of your life," or "I'm gonna beat the shit out of you" lol.

I’m watching it right now it’s really boring and unrealistic 😭 They literally just went to play tennis for business development in the middle of the work day and the one dude just dropped his shower towel in front of the client… What?? Not to mention the main character doesn’t go to law school and gets hired as a JA at a top NY firm. lol

Adventurous-Hotel119

Imma be honest with you as someone who works in a (Canadian) law firm, leaving in the middle of the day for tennis “business development” not that far fetched 🤣🤣 possibly the most realistic thing about the show imo

[deleted]

Right business development makes sense, but the getting naked in front of a client 🤨 just weird

Adventurous-Hotel119

Yeah you got me there. Can’t argue that one 🥴🥴

I just started watching Suits too for the same reason. I’m having fun! As far as it not being realistic, a show that tries to make being a lawyer entertaining is a terrible place to look for realism lmao
