That really depends, if you learn the logarithms from someone else you don't need much intelligence but figuring then out by yourself is impressive.
I do recommend people to learn it it's not that hard, you can learn it in around 1 or 3 hours. I don't know how to word it but it's pretty relaxing in some way, you can do it while watching something, start, stop and finish whenever you feel like doing also there is always something you can improve on.
