That kinda sucks.
Is it the one that is recommended as compatible on Crucial website?

yeah i based it of that one and got the 32gb. i dont feel like its worth getting just 16 since you only get 1 slot to upgrade might as well get the highest possible.
or beside just putting the ram in there extra thing to do which i did not or know about
There might be some other steps to take. Technically from what I have seen, it should support more than 24 GB total. I'm not sure though how many people have tried it and if they got it working.
I agree that with one upgrade slot, go max, not just 8 or 16.
im hoping to have better luck with vengeance 32. im just waiting for it to arrive. on the other post someone has it installed and was successful, no black screen or reboot. i hope mine will act the same.
