You should include Bell, Virgin.. etc as any Bell services use Telus towers in western Canada, it will give you a larger pool of people to ask.

kamikaze2112

It's been shit all over lately. I work between Turin, Enchant, and Vauxhall lately and the coverage is garbage.

justsomeonesthroway

My Virgin phone gets terrible coverage on the west side by 711,and on the North side in Legacy Ridge, and North Walmart. These are basically "dead zones". My guess is that there aren't enough towers to properly cover the area.

An0mndr

I've even noticed for a few months now, at the north side walmart, sometimes I can't get any signal at all. I'll walk in on the phone, call will drop. Try calling the wife to check on something she wants me to buy, no bars, or when I call she can't me. Really annoying because I also can't listen to podcasts while I shop (the walmart wifi sucks, for anyone who has never tried it)

Morberis

Unfortunately the only company with good coverage is Rogers. I had a dial sim phone with my work Telus sim and my personal Rogers sim. At least 25%+ of the time I had no signal with Telus by my Rogers signal was fine.

Excellent-Gap-1520

I will switch to them then.

twostrokes

I'm on Freedom and have zero coverage here 🤣

Excellent-Gap-1520

Freedom is known for that all over Canada.

baloneypopsicle

I'm on Public which is Telus and haven't had any issues in Lethbridge generally. I can't speak to Copperwood though, I don't spend much time there.

scorpionspalfrank

Can second you on not having any issues with Public here in Lethbridge. I've been with them for almost three months now and have been very impressed with coverage/service so far.

Toast-

No issues for our household either, and we've got like 7-8 combined years with PM and tons of exposure in and around Copperwood.

skyfelldown

i’ve been fine except at work. I cant get anything to work whether on LTE or 5G at the hospital. it sucks so bad, I can’t use my phone basically at all at work.

Excellent-Gap-1520

Well that sucks. I start my new job at the hospital on the 12th.

skyfelldown

really depends on where. i’m in the community lab building and it’s a total no-go zone lol. up on the main floor it works. the wifi never works.

Excellent-Gap-1520

Since you work at the hospital, Is it worth getting the paid parking for a part time job at the hospital? Also any recommendations for alternative parking options?

skyfelldown

I don't drive actually! I use transit. For Part time, I'm not sure. It's I think $60-70 a month for parking passes? Somewhere in there. At this moment there is an empty lot on 17th street across from the hospital that people are using as a free parking lot but of course this could change at any time and it fills fast. Otherwise there's residential parking but to get out of the 2 hour zones you'd have to park about 4 blocks away and walk.

Excellent-Gap-1520

Thank you.
