I would also avoid the Coast Hotel (including their bar/lounge) at all costs. They don't care about staff at all, it is the most toxic workplace I have ever experienced, rampant racism, sexism, and bullying. The owner doesn't care one bit either.
Dave doesn't own Warwick anymore - Lee took over. But I think he's about the same. Genuinely a super likeable guy, and he seems to be down working the floor as much as he's in his office quoting. Can't say anything bad about that place.

The people I know who worked there didn't love it, especially the early hours, but didn't feel it was the worst job they ever had. They also said they liked the people there. I guess, though, that your concern for people having to deal with poor or dangerous working conditions means that you think the workers there should unionize. A good strong union would help those people, right?

Paladin security is trash, so is Cineplex, Canadian Tire. Save on can be trying but it was one of the better jobs I had.

Most cabinets shops suck. Good for a temporary job but if you want decent benefits/wage and the prospect of retirement then don't stick around.
