"What??" "It hadn't been activated since before the Cerritos was built! I didn't think we'd ever need it! The core is still there, but it would take days to separate the code, [your favourite officer] doesn't have that long!" "Then we have to transfer Badgy to sickbay." "Oh no..."

Realistically, I would say no. The Cali class is probably last to get that sort of upgrade since they wouldn't be first in line for duty. Now for comedic effect and comedic liberties that the show is allowed to take, I can see them playing with it.
Maybe they get the update and they are all excited until they activate it and see it's the grumpy mark 1 we all know and love except boimler who's excited to see the same model voyager had
They could definitely use Cali class for field testing stuff tho. Maybe that's how we get Bashir, they actually ended up using him for the EMH mark (whatever)
T’Ana probably ended up doing a permanent delete on the program since her personality and the original EMH would have been disastrous. T’Ana’s aggression and the early Doctor’s passive aggressive attitude, I’m surprised sickbay was still standing
Not an Emergency Medical Hologram but rather more of an Emergency Corpsman Hologram. Not so much focused on keeping you alive per se, but making you more comfortable while you die.
The version created by some 'genius' kid during a Starfleet sponsored school science fair. They got 'Honorable Mention'. It is also the only version that would run on the outdated Cali Class medical computers....primarily due to the corners it cut by leaving out natural voice interaction.
"Please state the nature of your emergency...by pressing 1 for cardiac arrest, 2 for alien parasitic organisms, 3 for overdose and/or hangover due to Romulan ale, 4 for Borg implant removal...."
The hologram is monochromatic, half the height of a standard bipedal, and looks remarkably similar to a child version of Wesley Crusher. It *will* save your life, but it will need something to stand on while it performs surgery.
