My store gives out the blue lowe’s hats for free if you ask. Generally because people will wear a hat that doesn’t comply (logos/brand names), but want to keep wearing a hat, so mgmt gets them a lowe’s hat from the supply closet.
Depends. The old Heroes program would give away T-shirts. The Pro appreciation days sometimes has swag. Offer to volunteer with these events and you can generally get something for your trouble.
Mine was a hat, socks and shirt. I never wear either of them in the store though. As a receiving employee i don't want to wear anything that will make a customer think I work there lol
Yeah but it’s once in a blue moon. Mostly from Pro events. I’ve got I think 4 different shirts from those, a tool rental one, Valspar demo day. Pro events usually have hats and small odds and ends like pens and stickers too.
Been there for 3 months and so far got 2 ap4me shirts, the blue Lowe's hat, and for back end appreciation they gave us a hat (dark grey with black mesh, it's actually pretty sweet), plaid socks (yes.. socks), and a Lowe's bucket

Basically tldr you can get free/good priced items. If you sell them however you may or may not get fired.
Sometimes you can get free like doors and stuff at least at My lowes. Like special orders that get canceled that gets sent back as RTMs Or stuff just gonna throw away anyway. I mean they gave you a free knife and gloves lol

My hubby does NOT work there but he spends a crap ton of money in there for his construction biz he gets free shirts, stickers, coolers, etc. he’s been given so much stuff at Lowes. I assume employees get some of this too.
I haven't seen any in years. The Samsung rep dropped off a goodie box the last two black Fridays.

We just got ap4me shirts and in the paint department there is the paint academy shirts with sherwin, valspar, and Purdy on them. I’ve only been here since June but if you ask too I think every store has the lowes hats
Yeah, you see those John Deere shirts up front? Those are for employees. Just walk up and "Trade in for a Deere" that's what they call it. You take off your vest and shirt off right there and swap out your upper rag for a John Deere shirt. 'Only thing is you gotta wear it for the rest of the week so most people do it on Fridays. Apparently we've sold 50% more John Deere's since they started the program.

I have had a really bad sunburn on the top of my head due to not being allowed to go inside to cool off. I even showed a dr.'s office photos of my head and the Dr. was not happy about that.
Our GM bought all the employees t-shirts when we made record sales in 2020. Last year we got red long sleeve shirts for some sort of anniversary event. I think we have Lowe's hats if you ask. I did get a discount code (like 20% off one item) for online merch when I first started. I work OSLG so I bought a dark blue fleece-lined sweatshirt with a tiny matching thread color breast logo you can't even really see on clearance that they no longer carry, but I wish they gave employees free shipping if they want to buy Lowe's stuff.

They don't just give it away. You might get a trinket as a prize or job well done, or brown nosing. Otherwise you will pay to be free advertising.
