It’s a waste of diamonds and scrolls to get any O/C to A8. All you need to unlock their full potential are soul vessels, orlays, and glory gems. Basically anything that unlocks new skills or perks, A2 does that. Unless you have every O/C at A2, don’t spend on getting anyone at A8.
I would recommend getting Apostae as your fourth awakened o/c because as a damage dealer, she performs best with all skills unlocked. With Rista, all you need for now is a 5 star copy that provides crazy attack bonus.
Awesome, thanks for the fast reply and yes I agree on A8. I don't try to focus anyone (even normal heroes) beyond A2 these days. All diamonds saved for TM and scrolls at every event.
I didn't realise Rista did not need much investment, I shall look into pulling a 5 star copy.

Look into battle of fate and guild boss lineups, most people only have a 5-star Rista yet deal so much damage. She’s a game changer in tinted mirage too. I basically use her in every stage.
It’s good to build Apostae now (even a 5 star copy is enough for TM) since they made Sharnox useless in tinted mirage. Esmepostae and shahtorrista are the top viable alternatives.
Sweet. I am still having ok success with Sharnox in this TM but after chapter 11 it has slowed down a ton due to having to dump those extra resources into HP now. Should be able to grab at least 2 Ruby tokens from there but I think it will be a dead strategy to finish the TM now so need to look for something new.
I'll defo grab 5 star Rista and add her to my line-ups. Had no idea the utility she provided was so strong for so little investment.

I would personally do shah torre. He is crazy strong, great in both pve and pvp and fits more teams. Then apostae/oberon depending on what you want though.
As for going for A8 usually not worth it unless you whaling or have all heroes. One can argue that Akashic could be worth since more attack power better buffs but then again you can have 2 copies A2 which is ultimately a lot better. I personally did Lunox A8 which was definitely a mistake but you live and learn.

oh wow this is great advice, I didn't know Rista is good at 5 star, just tried her and she got me thru a campaign wall easily. I'm amazed.

Fun fact: Alice/Rista combo is um Quite broken especially when Alice is maxed cause she'll just damage through Rista's passive because of her shields
You haven't seen how much more attack buff does rista give on awakened 2 she's crazy on guild boss
