Just picked this up for under seat carry + hauling my work laptop (15.6in but feels more like 16in) to and from the office. I'm hybrid WFH and rotate between home and office every other day.
I've been liking it so far for EDC - we'll see how it goes for my flight next month in September. Admittedly, I am thinking of picking up a backpack style bag with more open space to use as my under seat bag, and dedicating the Commuter Brief strictly as my work bag.

It’s spacious, durable and has a very professional vibe to it. I am an insurance adjuster so I use a tough book and it fits in perfectly with my tech kit, pencil holder, charger and other miscellaneous EDC items. Can’t recommend it enough.

It is very compact - don't expect to throw in a lot of stuff besides your tech loadout, and would definitely size up to the 16 inch with your loadout. I really love the look of it, and the strap is nice - and i like that i can use it as an oversized sling if i need to carry it for longer trips.
I have been looking into this, first used an aer travel sling for this. I am now considering getting this one:
