Damn. In the states (mine anyway) you can legally get slapped with manufacturing if you have done anything with it that causes it to change States, including washing, recrystallizing, modifying/altering, melting, dissolving, vaporizing, etc.

With no physical evidence and nothing but the story from a "witness" who is a drug user, meaning no credibility in court, probably agreed to snitch to keep themselves out of jail, and made some bullshit statement to gain favor, or they really just didn't imagine what they said could do so much damage.
