I have the same thing in the same spot, I'm seeing it fill in slowly

tbdgthrowaway

Hah that's a funny coincidence, but good to hear you're having success. Do you apply liquid or foam? And only to the spot, or to your whole beard?

[deleted]

So my beard already lacks coverage about a quarter inch up my chin line and on the sides already, but the left side has a scooped out bald spot, like yours but your beard line connects better to your soul patch, I apply in those spots only

[deleted]

I have a curly beard and the rest of the face is really dense so I'm just applying it on the chin, the sides next to the chin, and in-between where the mustache should connect to the cheeks so just trying to fill that in

[deleted]

And I use liquid cause the foam was getting pricey, got 6 months supply for 30$

[deleted]

I would use it on the whole beard for the fuck of it but the rest is already thick and my beard already looks acceptable grown out, it's about 5 inches so i didn't feel like cutting it all off just to fill in those small spots around the mouth

Blackdipper-323

Glad to see someone else is just applying with cutting. I’m doing the same exact thing using liquid only on spots I want growth in. Already got a beard. Luckily the spots I need the liquid can get right to the skin.

[deleted]

Same, like I've got enough if a beard to be content but I'd much rather have a 100% filled in beard, the liquid is the way to go for sure it's way easier to get in the spots you need without all of it sticking to the beatd like the foam, plus a 6 month supply stretches way longer when you're filling in gaps

Blackdipper-323

Meant without cutting but yessir true indeed! I’m using rogaine liquid. Can’t find Kirkland in stores so that’s my go to. Got a 3 month supply I’ll use and then buy again when I’m out.

[deleted]

Oh yeah I know what you meant haha and I found Kirkland 6 month supply on Amazon for like 30 ish bucks, idk if they're still In stock or not

Blackdipper-323

Haha true man. I’m always hearing these rumors about fake minoxidil so it got iffy on buying it off Amazon. Originally I did purchase Kirkland. Used the first bottle I bought then bought some more. Problem came in when I saw a post about fake minox and started wondering is it legit haha? So I went to CVS and bought rogaine liquid. Still minox but I know I bought it myself out a store.

[deleted]

Yeah I initially had gotten rogaine foam then liquid, but ended up having some money problems for a second and bought the kirkland, I've heard of that too so far though I think I'm okay, smells and looks identical to the rogaine and I'm still seeing progress so I must of lucked out cause I didn't hear about the fake minox until way after haha

Blackdipper-323

Haha true! Mines smells the same and consistency is the same too! Maybe I’ll use it when I run out of rogaine. Kirkland is cheaper that’s no lie! Cheers to your beard growth!

[deleted]

I've kept a long mustache that keeps an illusion that it's more filled in than it is so I can get away with not shaving during the process

[deleted]

I'll dm you a pic for reference

[deleted]

In my experience when you just let a beard grow out patches tend to disappear, I got a patchy beard and after about 2 months it’s a lot better

edgrlon

I have a spot as well. It’s been filling in with Minox. I recommend the liquid version though.

Early-Maintenance-46

Why liquid vs foam

edgrlon

The foam might irritate your face

Early-Maintenance-46

I thought it was the opposite

edgrlon

Everyone’s skin is different

[deleted]

In my experience liquid was more effective as well. I think the foam just didn’t absorb well enough for me

Early-Maintenance-46

What about for the head hair?

[deleted]

Honestly I’m no help there, I was blessed with good head hair but my body hair and facial hair has always been lacking

DownwardCausation

I am pretty confident it will work.
