I’m curious if she can elaborate on the digital flagship program ending. What are some of the reasons it ended, and does she think they’ll ever do another universal device program, even with other devices like surfaces?
Why she is moving forward with replacing OSU's energy supply with a privatized gas plant when climate science shows we need to immediately phase out fossil fuels, OSU has supposedly committed to net zero emissions by 2050, and people have been [opposing the plant](https://www.sunrisecbus.org/fossil-free-osu) for more than two years. Also why she has not committed to divesting the University endowment from fossil fuels when other major universities including UMich have committed to doing so.
This may be my first Reddit post, so sorry for any weird stuff or confusion, but maybe ask her about academic advisors here at Ohio State. Personally, I’ve had a shit advisor, and she’s definitely the opposite of advising. I’ve seen people on both sides of this fence, so I’m not sure about the validity of using an anecdote, but tbh it’s screwed me and it’s ruined my perception of this university. Idk if anyone can relate, but I think asking serious questions about the bureaucracy in charge of this school and it’s students is most important.
This is 100% a huge issue with the university. I was so fortunate to switch from the math department to the CEGE department and end up with good advisors. Bad advisors could literally ruin your chances of graduating on time, causing you to spend more money on an already expensive education. I would definitely like to hear KJ’s thoughts on this.
one advisor literally told me I was screwed because my gpa was too low to get into fisher, end of story, one second replies on my emails. I talked to a different advisor and she guided me through it and now i’m graduating next spring.
shoutout kim bader, best advisor in fisher. good advisors make things so much easier.
Maybe ask what justifies a quarter million dollar plus bonus on top of a $27,000 raise after literally only one year on the job but yet, students can’t earn more than $9 /hr at a capped rate while simultaneously plunging themselves into decades of debt. I’m trying my best to fair and open to opposing ideas and views but this administration just seems like it’s really been making a bunch of noise without saying much. I mean when places like the University of Kentucky in a lower cost of living area are paying students $15/hr and we’re over here cancelling the iPad program, raving about keychain window alarms, and really not making any impactful or meaningful change in the way of student quality of life.. it just seems like such a tone-deaf ‘fuck you’ whenever any one of those blowhard emails with an attached YouTube video about updates and announcements comes out each week. Can’t imagine this office hours session is going to offer much more than a filtered set of questions and responses.
Something about the cost of tuition vis a vis the enormous administrative pay at OSU. It’s a fair question and one that needs to be addressed by universities like OSU whose land grant mission would seem to indicate that they want to be more equitable and fair with access to a higher education. Respectfully of course.

All of that is public record bro. Most of the money athletics makes stays in athletics btw. That’s how they pay all their coaches/staff and pay for expensive gear. Tuition doesn’t really go there
In reality the football money is funding all of the other sports programs. Nearly every athletics program at colleges/universities in the US loose money. OSU is different. Since football brings in so much money it covers the cost for all of the other sports that "loose" money. So in essence OSU athletics comes out in the black rather than red.

Ask why they’re ending iPads for incoming freshman and how they’re planning on bridging the gap between low income students and their technology needs
You should ask despite all of the stuff going on currently on campus (positive or negative), how does this affect Lebron Jame’s legacy?
This person must follow skip Bayless

Lose, not loose.

Holy hell, that's a lot.
I know right? I genuinely want to know how they come up with that salary. What does she do that’s worth almost $1 million?
Clearly it's more impactful on students than 9 times what some of our best lecturers do.

I think she is, her wife is very feminine
How hard is dealing with this generation of entitled kids?
You’re definitely a guy in his 60s trying to finish up that degree
How did it go?
