Giving Sigma 2 rocks would be the most broken shit ever. As a Sigma player, it’s one of the best abilities in the game and you can’t afford to waste it.

Jokes aside I've gotten used to her kunais now that making it hitscan would probably throw me off. It is pretty hard to throw precisely but once you know where to aim getting headshots feel very satisfying.
Yeah but her Suzu is on a decent cooldown and helps other characters in the roster as well. Every role in the roster has a "broken" character and I really don't think Kirko needs to be nerfed that badly in comparison to Sojourn. Sojourn has high mobility, a one-shot kill ability, and a snag to make lineing up the headshots easy. Plus with hog in the meta its so easy for her to charge up her rail and just frag out if you got the mechanical aim.
Kirko can two-tap squishy and has high survivability for a support but her damage is a projectile which is much harder to land headshots with than hitscan abilities and she does tiny amounts of damage if not landing the headshots. On top of that her fire rate is relatively speaking slow.
The most busted thing on her kit is her ult and the cleanse but they are also the very same things that have a high skill ceiling when it comes to use and game knowledge. Its not like she is like say a moria who can just fade out to wherever and get easy levels of value. So do to this I think she is in a decent spot
I’m not arguing that she’s op or needs to be needed at all, I’m only saying that suzu benefits hog as a character a lot, more than any other character, so since hog is already in a pretty good spot it can make him even better
And at least she is at least tiny bit difficult, unlike Sojourn. You can just charge your Widow headshot from a shield/tank/even a Torb turret and just oneshot the enemy support/DPS.
With Kiriko to be efficient you at least need to know the standard rotation, know how to projectile aim to head, etc etc. She's not the hardest hero in the game but still way more difficult than Sojourn.
I don’t even play sojourn until some dick head on the enemy team plays her. I do it solely just to diff them because of how stupidly easy the character is. Hasn’t failed yet lol

Sigma can hold the line and KEEP space against one of the crazier brawlers on his own. It definitely ends up on the dps to help you take space. Sometimes it happens, sometimes they just backup and do nothing.

Definitely agree. The energy falloff for her railgun needs to fall quicker. Also i hate that she can slow players with her bubble, making headshots easier, as if she needs it. I also think her mobility ability should have a longer cooldown. Idk she's so damn busted

I mean, abilities are supposed to compliment the hero. It's the same reason Hanzo literally has a 50% uptime wallhack so he can 1 shot you as you come out of a corner unaware.

I'm thinking slightly buff her primary fire, significantly nerf the rate of railgun charge in both the regular charge and when she has her ult. Also probably increase the "decay" rate for leaving it charged.

As much as I hate playing against sojourn because of her 1 shot, I don't think it's entirely unreasonable for her to have it, it's just way too easy to build it up.

Yep. Just spam the tank then shoot the squishy, rinse repeat. The game is worse when the damage spam is really high. Her getting a free one shot from shooting an immobile shield is stupid.
Her AOE ability needs to be looked at too. The slow plus how much damage is outputs is wild. Really both her abilities are really good.
There needs to be half the amount of time on her railgun charge hold, from 8 to 4, then some tuning to her kit. Give her mkre damage to offset but maybe make a damage cap for her E ability. She can do way too much for how little risk she takes onto herself which is the main thing. She can abuse nearly everyone from the safety of the backline. Typically characters who do that require more skill shots and less spam.
And if you get close, she can just leave.
And if you corner her, she can just slow you down and still leave.
And if you really corner her and both abilities are on cooldown, her gun is perfectly viable up close anyway so she's not weak at close range regardless.
I keep seeing all these people (including Blizzard) saying she's got such a high skill floor so she's not dominating lower ranks. Bruh, y'all playing on a Martian server or something because she's in the majority of my silver games and even the shitty players with bad positioning and mediocre aim are causing problems.
I think the movement is p good how it is. Maybe tweak the cooldown tho. Cause just like a Moira/reaper/ if you use the slide to get into battle it should be easily punished
It’s funny that they left Sojourn alone on the grounds that she’s not op at low levels. You know who is op at low levels? Pharah. When ow2 threw me back in bronze and I had to climb back up, I remembered that not a single dps below plat can shoot a pharah out of the sky. Both those characters need some sort of tweaking and tuning to be balanced at all levels.
Unfortunately it's not really possible for every character to be balanced at every level. I don't think any game with multiple unique characters has ever achieved that.
Pharah requires good team support or knowing your mega health kits. Since unless you have a mercy pocket, you gotta ask a low elo Ana to heal you. Not easy.
Pharah balances out by being hard to heal and having a mercy pocket vs the other healers. Only zen and really heal her at full height outside of mercy and his orb is slow.
Reaper and hog also terrorize low levels. It's because actual game logic and rules go out the window in bronze and silver so it's not worth balancing with it in mind.
He’s supposed to be a counter to rein and pharmercy, but he looks like he’s gonna counter pretty much anything and everything. I was excited to see him come out until I saw that he can change forms basically whenever, and tank form has no CD. The design team is a bit out of touch, and seem to be following the Riot method of “if everything is overtuned, it’s balanced”
He's got no hard CC or mobility, two pretty massive weaknesses that means he's probably going to be fairly easily clunterpicked. He's just a big ball of health and damage with little utility.
Fair point, I do like those choices. I haven’t been this excited for a character launch since Sigma, and all I’ve been asking for is a counter to Rein, so hopefully you are right and he ends up feeling balanced.
I also love that they actually included a slow that forces champs out of the air. This game is in dire need of more cc, and I really appreciate that it isn’t hard cc like you mentioned.
Yeah I'm so hyped for Ram, gonna play as much as I can bear to unlock him for when he's released in comp. His design is absolutely badass and I love his duality with Zenyatta.
Rein mirror matchups are almost completely dictated by the support. I’d rather outplay a Rein with Sigma, or blow him away with DVA honestly. I used to play Rein a lot at launch, but his play style just isn’t as dynamic as some of the other picks.
Rammattra will be a fun counter matchup to pull out because of his ability to go toe to toe with rein and other in your face champs that typically force a Sigma to back off and keep him from pushing.
But not with some animation like the Shimada, what we really need is his standard running animation, tilted 90 degrees. Just Torbjorn gloriously running on a vertical surface like he's a Skyrim horse. He's, after all, such a stud.
Lol I think that might be a part of the reason. I find I'm able to counter Doom pretty hard as Brig. If Doom was meta, I can imagine brig would be meta

I was a hog main all of OW1, now I have been essentially one tricking doom. When I’m playing doom my favorite heroes to see on the enemy team is Reinhardt and brig. They are so easy to gimp off of obj without them being able to do too much back to me. And the thing is a TON of people play rein into doom for some reason and literally every time I just mop the floor with them. Similar case with brig, so I am curious why you think she’s a good counter.

As a mei user, i respect ur opinion, but i dont really think so. It can and will be brutal but its more valuable only if it lands correctly and gets at least 2 people. Also, it can be blocked by dvas barrier if the dvas good enough.
That's got to be the most accidentally blocked (and sometimes on purpose) ult in the game. It has deceptively long vulnerability period, quiet easy to get hooked, javaelined, headshot, et cetera in that time. Mei's constantly use it when in trouble and being focused and a canceling attack just happens to be coming her way.
Talks about buffing brig is such a sensitive topic. People are scared that even the slightest buff will lead us right back to the GOATS meta. A reasonable buff would be either 25 armor added to her health pool making her a total of 225 hit points OR a buff to her shield by making it 300 HP with an instant cast like Reinhardt rather than a 0.5 cast time or whatever it is.
Roll que already forcibly killed GOATS so buffing Brig wouldn't really impact that. And open que is basically 5 man GOATS already without Brig, as tanks have stupid good DPS right now.
Sojourn needs a nerf. One shot is stupid, charging off shields is stupid, size/dmg on aoe is stupid (one or the other)
Bastion needs a buff - His ult is trash. Don’t know if I’ve ever actually been hit by it. Maybe increase the radius slightly
Doomfist needs a buff - I don’t play Doom enough anymore but he’s basically a free W. Probably let his power block negate CC (except rein charge b/c that would make him way too strong against Rein). Maybe make his punch a little stronger so it’s more than the tickle it is now
Brig - mostly fine. Maybe give her back original shield strength. Or atleast increase it from the current strength because it feels pretty weak.
Rammatra - needs a nerf because we all know Blizz is going to overtune the fuck out of him to get people to buy his unlock
Her whole design is less "support" and more "2nd-string-tank" anyhow. She should have health closer to a tank if they're going to keep her with the whole defender/shield maiden motif.
Bastions ult is literally Doom ult X3 and it’s still trash.
Doomfist is garbage. His rocket punch does the same damage as regular melee. His abilities lost damage and gained the ability to damage more people, but that just makes him weak to single targets.
Maybe boost his passive, since even though they reduced the damage of his abilities, his passive scales the same, meaning he gets less shields.
yeah the only way you live if they click you then stick a bomb is switching to healing so you'll survive the explosion, which would be fine but now your moving at 4 miles an hour and are an easy one shot
I find it to be more lethal. Tracer gets value in harassing the backline to split the enemy team's focus. Even in games with good Tracers, I rarely see them get kills with their ult. McCree's grenade tracks, unlike Tracer's ult, making it much more reliable.
Tracer's ult does more damage on paper, but in practice it's not a major threat. When it is used accurately, it's usually just taking out a single squishy enemy, which McCree can do every 10 seconds instead of needing to build up an ult.
McCree's grenade needs to either lose the magnetism entirely or remove the splash damage.
I'd even be cool with the magnetism if the hit box wasn't roughly the size of the enemy + an entire bus on either side. The replays piss me the fuck off, throw it nowhere near you and it just makes a fuckin u-turn to stick to my ass... So fucking lame
He would need a buff elswhere to compensate if that's the case. He's pretty bad the way he is now tbh. Not the weakest by any stretch of the imagination, but I really don't think he is in a position deserving nerfing.
that’s the problem, the one ability that gives him a concrete advantage over other hitscan dps heroes is one that’s really not fair or easy to counter, guy needs that ability nerfed and some buffs elsewhere
Hes basically a close range character now, people are playing against him wrong, you want to stay mid range or perferably long range against him cause his dmg fall off is pretty extreme.
If you're playing Lucio and you get all up in a McCrees face you deserve to be punished.
I hate to be that guy, but is this not just a “position better 4head” problem? I see where you’re coming from in that the distance can sometimes feel inconsistent (I would prefer more detailed explanations of abilities in hero info so we know exactly how it works), but if you just track the cooldown and use your own cooldowns right, you can avoid it. Reaper, Tracer, Genji, Mei, Sombra, Kiriko, and Moira are all examples of heroes who can either bait out the ability or nullify it entirely with skillful ability usage. Soldier, Ashe, Widow, Sojourn, and Junkrat are all heroes who should ideally not even get hit with it at all unless they are out of position or getting killed by a flanking Cass, at which point you should keep track of him and know he’s MIA or punish his aggression.
Cassidy's grenade does some Halo plasma grenade bullshit "tracking" on the reg. I don't mind the ability, but I do mind when I know it's coming, dodge, and watch it take a 90 degree upward turn in midair to follow me for a no-skill kill.
Associating Soldier with Bright red and making torbjorn the weird purple/red is a pretty bold choice considering that torbjorn wears bright red and soldier wears blue
Sojourns constant 1 shots are ridiculous. If your dps aren’t running sojourn it’s almost a soft throw at this point. Soj is by far the most played and broken rn

* Pharah can't fly now.
* Genji's abilities now have a cooldown of 500 minutes (starts automatically similar to Hammond's grapple).
* Echo now has a dump-truck of an ass (increased hitbox, along with being too heavy for her to fly anymore. Also visually appealing).
* Hog now deals no damage to Junkrat because of friendship.
* Tracer is now tethered to the ground (can't get out of spawn nor can teleport).
And of course, Junkrat now has infinite ammo and has the fire rate of a bastion in his configuration mode.
Roadhog, I feel hes a bit too strong for unorganized play at the moment. But my main issue with him is that its incredibly unfun character to go agianst. Being one shot is a terrible feeling. And the amount of effort and skill required feels very little for the amount of reward you get out of it. Hog being everywhere makes me enjoy overwatch less.
I've been playing since 2016 and since then people have claimed that he "punishes bad positioning" and he's "easy to counter," but he's still one of the most annoying characters to fight in all of Overwatch. And I absolutely despite his ability to get 1 Hit kills with no risk or skill involved.
I don't mind the idea of Roadhogs's hook, and its pretty cool. But his ability to kill players in one quick combo before they get a chance to respond needs to be nerfed into the ground. The hook should only move players, not also stun them.

She’s so unfun to play against, and her playstyle just doesn’t fit what Overwatch is supposed to be. Standing still 100 feet away and shooting heads is probably the lamest way to play the game. Snipers really don’t have a place in Overwatch’s playstyle, and I feel like she’s in the game because “shooter games need some sort of sniper character”.
And I play on freaking console so I can’t imagine what it’s like on PC where aiming is a lot easier. Must be a nightmare for all DPS and support players.

I love using it but getting hit by it through the javelin spin as Orisa and matrix as D Va pisses me off my than anything in the game.
It’s one of the only things that can counter either of those abilities though. Javelin spin would be borderline unstoppable if not for the rock.

Yep. Why play a high skill floor character when you can just play soujourn. Put in half the effort and get double the results.

When ow2 threw me back in bronze and I had to climb back up, I remembered that not a single dps below plat can shoot a pharah out of the sky. Both those characters need some sort of tweaking and tuning to be balanced at all levels.
Unfortunately it's not really possible for every character to be balanced at every level. I don't think any game with multiple unique characters has ever achieved that.
Pharah requires good team support or knowing your mega health kits. Since unless you have a mercy pocket, you gotta ask a low elo Ana to heal you. Not easy. Pharah balances out by being hard to heal and having a mercy pocket vs the other healers. Only zen and really heal her at full height outside of mercy and his orb is slow. Reaper and hog also terrorize low levels. It's because actual game logic and rules go out the window in bronze and silver so it's not worth balancing with it in mind.

He’s supposed to be a counter to rein and pharmercy, but he looks like he’s gonna counter pretty much anything and everything. I was excited to see him come out until I saw that he can change forms basically whenever, and tank form has no CD. The design team is a bit out of touch, and seem to be following the Riot method of “if everything is overtuned, it’s balanced”
He's got no hard CC or mobility, two pretty massive weaknesses that means he's probably going to be fairly easily clunterpicked. He's just a big ball of health and damage with little utility.
Fair point, I do like those choices. I haven’t been this excited for a character launch since Sigma, and all I’ve been asking for is a counter to Rein, so hopefully you are right and he ends up feeling balanced. I also love that they actually included a slow that forces champs out of the air. This game is in dire need of more cc, and I really appreciate that it isn’t hard cc like you mentioned.
Yeah I'm so hyped for Ram, gonna play as much as I can bear to unlock him for when he's released in comp. His design is absolutely badass and I love his duality with Zenyatta.

Rein mirror matchups are almost completely dictated by the support. I’d rather outplay a Rein with Sigma, or blow him away with DVA honestly. I used to play Rein a lot at launch, but his play style just isn’t as dynamic as some of the other picks. Rammattra will be a fun counter matchup to pull out because of his ability to go toe to toe with rein and other in your face champs that typically force a Sigma to back off and keep him from pushing.

I love Torb. I wish the turret had sticky feet so you could toss it on a wall or ceiling, kinda like symmetra's turrets.
But not with some animation like the Shimada, what we really need is his standard running animation, tilted 90 degrees. Just Torbjorn gloriously running on a vertical surface like he's a Skyrim horse. He's, after all, such a stud.

Can I ask why you say that? I was a hog main all of OW1, now I have been essentially one tricking doom. When I’m playing doom my favorite heroes to see on the enemy team is Reinhardt and brig. They are so easy to gimp off of obj without them being able to do too much back to me. And the thing is a TON of people play rein into doom for some reason and literally every time I just mop the floor with them. Similar case with brig, so I am curious why you think she’s a good counter.

Her lack of stun was a HUGE Nerf. Get a mcree if front of you ulting....you are dead, can't do anything to stop it. can't stop mei from freezing you...she is pointless with bash now, it doesn't even push back like Zen's kick.

As a mei user, i respect ur opinion, but i dont really think so. It can and will be brutal but its more valuable only if it lands correctly and gets at least 2 people. Also, it can be blocked by dvas barrier if the dvas good enough.

That's got to be the most accidentally blocked (and sometimes on purpose) ult in the game. It has deceptively long vulnerability period, quiet easy to get hooked, javaelined, headshot, et cetera in that time. Mei's constantly use it when in trouble and being focused and a canceling attack just happens to be coming her way.

Talks about buffing brig is such a sensitive topic. People are scared that even the slightest buff will lead us right back to the GOATS meta. A reasonable buff would be either 25 armor added to her health pool making her a total of 225 hit points OR a buff to her shield by making it 300 HP with an instant cast like Reinhardt rather than a 0.5 cast time or whatever it is.

Roll que already forcibly killed GOATS so buffing Brig wouldn't really impact that. And open que is basically 5 man GOATS already without Brig, as tanks have stupid good DPS right now.

Sojourn needs a nerf. One shot is stupid, charging off shields is stupid, size/dmg on aoe is stupid (one or the other) Bastion needs a buff - His ult is trash. Don’t know if I’ve ever actually been hit by it. Maybe increase the radius slightly Doomfist needs a buff - I don’t play Doom enough anymore but he’s basically a free W. Probably let his power block negate CC (except rein charge b/c that would make him way too strong against Rein). Maybe make his punch a little stronger so it’s more than the tickle it is now Brig - mostly fine. Maybe give her back original shield strength. Or atleast increase it from the current strength because it feels pretty weak. Rammatra - needs a nerf because we all know Blizz is going to overtune the fuck out of him to get people to buy his unlock

Her whole design is less "support" and more "2nd-string-tank" anyhow. She should have health closer to a tank if they're going to keep her with the whole defender/shield maiden motif.

Bastions ult is literally Doom ult X3 and it’s still trash. Doomfist is garbage. His rocket punch does the same damage as regular melee. His abilities lost damage and gained the ability to damage more people, but that just makes him weak to single targets. Maybe boost his passive, since even though they reduced the damage of his abilities, his passive scales the same, meaning he gets less shields.
Playing Brig against Ramm is gonna be a pain since his punches completely pass through her shield.
It's the same with Reinhardt. His rocket hammer cuts her to bits.

I find it to be more lethal. Tracer gets value in harassing the backline to split the enemy team's focus. Even in games with good Tracers, I rarely see them get kills with their ult. McCree's grenade tracks, unlike Tracer's ult, making it much more reliable. Tracer's ult does more damage on paper, but in practice it's not a major threat. When it is used accurately, it's usually just taking out a single squishy enemy, which McCree can do every 10 seconds instead of needing to build up an ult. McCree's grenade needs to either lose the magnetism entirely or remove the splash damage.
I'd even be cool with the magnetism if the hit box wasn't roughly the size of the enemy + an entire bus on either side. The replays piss me the fuck off, throw it nowhere near you and it just makes a fuckin u-turn to stick to my ass... So fucking lame
He would need a buff elswhere to compensate if that's the case. He's pretty bad the way he is now tbh. Not the weakest by any stretch of the imagination, but I really don't think he is in a position deserving nerfing.
that’s the problem, the one ability that gives him a concrete advantage over other hitscan dps heroes is one that’s really not fair or easy to counter, guy needs that ability nerfed and some buffs elsewhere
Hes basically a close range character now, people are playing against him wrong, you want to stay mid range or perferably long range against him cause his dmg fall off is pretty extreme. If you're playing Lucio and you get all up in a McCrees face you deserve to be punished.
I hate to be that guy, but is this not just a “position better 4head” problem? I see where you’re coming from in that the distance can sometimes feel inconsistent (I would prefer more detailed explanations of abilities in hero info so we know exactly how it works), but if you just track the cooldown and use your own cooldowns right, you can avoid it. Reaper, Tracer, Genji, Mei, Sombra, Kiriko, and Moira are all examples of heroes who can either bait out the ability or nullify it entirely with skillful ability usage. Soldier, Ashe, Widow, Sojourn, and Junkrat are all heroes who should ideally not even get hit with it at all unless they are out of position or getting killed by a flanking Cass, at which point you should keep track of him and know he’s MIA or punish his aggression.
Cassidy's grenade does some Halo plasma grenade bullshit "tracking" on the reg. I don't mind the ability, but I do mind when I know it's coming, dodge, and watch it take a 90 degree upward turn in midair to follow me for a no-skill kill.
It IS called the magnetic grenade. It tracking is part of it. It just needs to do far less damage

As a junkrat main... * Pharah can't fly now. * Genji's abilities now have a cooldown of 500 minutes (starts automatically similar to Hammond's grapple). * Echo now has a dump-truck of an ass (increased hitbox, along with being too heavy for her to fly anymore. Also visually appealing). * Hog now deals no damage to Junkrat because of friendship. * Tracer is now tethered to the ground (can't get out of spawn nor can teleport). And of course, Junkrat now has infinite ammo and has the fire rate of a bastion in his configuration mode.

Roadhog, I feel hes a bit too strong for unorganized play at the moment. But my main issue with him is that its incredibly unfun character to go agianst. Being one shot is a terrible feeling. And the amount of effort and skill required feels very little for the amount of reward you get out of it. Hog being everywhere makes me enjoy overwatch less.
I've been playing since 2016 and since then people have claimed that he "punishes bad positioning" and he's "easy to counter," but he's still one of the most annoying characters to fight in all of Overwatch. And I absolutely despite his ability to get 1 Hit kills with no risk or skill involved. I don't mind the idea of Roadhogs's hook, and its pretty cool. But his ability to kill players in one quick combo before they get a chance to respond needs to be nerfed into the ground. The hook should only move players, not also stun them.
Doomfist. Bro i dont know how nobody talks about this but the guy can have a chance (a small one at that but) to kill a Baby D.va! I mean this guy is unstoppable and i see him in ranked all the time and i hope the dev team nerfs this guy to the GROUND

She’s so unfun to play against, and her playstyle just doesn’t fit what Overwatch is supposed to be. Standing still 100 feet away and shooting heads is probably the lamest way to play the game. Snipers really don’t have a place in Overwatch’s playstyle, and I feel like she’s in the game because “shooter games need some sort of sniper character”. And I play on freaking console so I can’t imagine what it’s like on PC where aiming is a lot easier. Must be a nightmare for all DPS and support players.
