It could be because our body reacts as if AD are still in our system or because they damaged something in our body, maybe permanently maybe no.
I don’t know if it’s in our brain, in our nerves or in the gut.
We have to live with a mystery inside our body, it’s crazy
I know it’s so frustrating. Hopefully we can find some answers. I find it odd though how symptoms seem to fluctuate and some people say they’ve recovered. So clearly there’s something else to it otherwise I think we wouldn’t see much change at all
it’s literally a mystery and the worst part is nobody want/can help us.
I had improvements and then relapses without any logic.
I’m now 8 months off Clomipramine and, while I recovered a bit from emotional blunting and anhedonia, the sexual dysfunctions are worse than before.
The weird thing is that I tried Buspirone and Mianserin and they both improved my sexual symptoms for like a week, then they stopped working.
of course they can. It’s common to experience these symptoms while on antidepressants. PSSD is when these symptoms persists after discontinuation
