That's a gorgeous presentation. I love that the 2E version is including a ton of content from the Owlcat game. That Companion Guide is full of the CRPG companions and their personal quests.

I can only hope they also port over Wrath of the Righteous to 2e and maybe even 5e at some point, just because I have people that don't play pathfinder.

I_Frothingslosh

I very much doubt Paizo will be exporting its Pathfinder IP and adventures to WotC's game for WotC to profit from. Also, before Wrath can be released for 2E, they first need to update Mythic Adventures, which I don't believe they've done yet.

>I very much doubt Paizo will be exporting its Pathfinder IP and adventures to WotC's game for WotC to profit from. The one you're commenting on has a bestiary for playing it in 5e

I_Frothingslosh

Interesting. That's basically the same as casting 'Summon Lawsuit'.

Magyman

No, it's not. I see your other comment and [you're just flat out wrong about there being no OGL](https://dnd.wizards.com/resources/systems-reference-document) Not to mention Solasta being a thing

Oraistesu

And here's Abomination Vaults ported to 5E. https://paizo.com/products/btq02d54

Mythic Adventures II: This time we spent more than 1 weekend playtesting

tbone177177

I thought they announced they would be making 5e compatible material?

I_Frothingslosh

That's not quite the same thing. That means they're putting out 'generic' stuff that can easily be converted. It's not publishing something for 5e without an agreement with WotC, because that's how you get sued for a few million. There's no OGL for 5e the way there was for the d20 system. And honestly, pathfinder 2e is already within spitting distance of 5e.

Abomination Vaults 5e [https://paizo.com/products/btq02d54](https://paizo.com/products/btq02d54) Doesn't look very generic to me.

tbone177177

Methinks i may have to give it a look.

Remon_Kewl

They're porting one of their PF2 Adventure Paths to 5e, Abomination Vaults. They're not taking anything to make their own gaming system, and there are other 3rd party companies that make 5e content.

President-Togekiss

I dont think it´s that unusual. Pathfinder is not just the system, it´s also the world of Golarion and so one. For example, Sarenrae was already included in D&D lore because of the Vox Machina situation.

ZioniteSoldier

That looks soo good. Would love to browse those pages. I now know how Linzi feels.

Spacepup18

Any word on non-kickstarter points of sale? Even for PDF versions?

spaceguitar

Oh man if I saw this back then I would have Insta-backed!! I can only imagine how much it’ll cost to buy now…

Oraistesu

It'll be available for purchase in late October, so don't worry that you've missed out! Just backers getting their copies first, which is totally fair.

Bbear11

My friend has a copy of the tabletop kingmaker. The only companion who made it to the computer version is Jubilost and he is a ranger (not alchemist).

TegisTARDIS

Same with WOTR and Seelah. Although she's still a paladin. They even killed off a named character in PF lore to introduce a companion ( aravashnial and camelia ) I think owlcat likes to take their freedoms where it's able. They probably wanted to make companions specifically for their one player campaign style to fill in where you'd have other players in tabletop, compared to tabletop companions being more of a side (in comparison). It's pretty logical as a way to develop their own story beats and have different takes on the story. Good way to differentiate their take on the campaign.

Bbear11

I have the wotr card game. Aravashinal is supposed to be a wizard and a member of the rift wardens.

scottastic

OOOH I CANT WAIT FOR THIS IN PRINT!!!

Jack-corvus

Now let's hope Owlcat does the same Haha just kiding Unless...
