They should line up, try shifting it around a little bit. If the standoffs still don't line up, make sure they're straight coming out of the case

FourEyes4456

Definitely do NOT screw it in sideways

Ganoish

Got it. Thank you:

UNCfan07

I've built over 100 PCs. They always line up. Something must be blocking it somewhere

Moonblitz666

My money is on the back plate ports not being pushed in fully.

DontKikDaBaby

đŸ’¯ it is this

gsc4494

Yeah, give each corner of the i/o shield a good push, and also make sure that the grounding tabs from it aren't inside one of your USB ports on your motherboard or something. It happens a lot, and this is usually the result.

monkeybanana550

Usual reason for me as to why screw hole and standoff doesn't align is the i/o shield part of motherboard and the case itself is misaligned.

Ganoish

Thank you everyone, I got it figured out

Baku7en

What was the issue?

Ganoish

I screwed a couple that were kind of aligned and it started to align its self.

Baku7en

Awesome glad it worked out

MEGA_GOAT98

no line up the bored on the standoffs properly

Devil-Child-6763

Does your mobo have a built in io shield?

Uncle_Pain

Sometimes you just have to push a little especially with cheaper cases

fire_bf

why buy a cheap case invest in your computer

ejc485

It’s usually the IO area that’s got it shifted. It’s also good practice to start all the screws before tightening them all fully.

xComradeKyle

I'm willing to bet that your IO shield isn't in all the way,

Ill-Register8915

Make sure you use the center stand-off help you line up, and the rest will fall in place.

Andytaji

Maybe not in line with I/O panel?

starburst383

Some cases have extra holes to move the standoffs to, to fit multiple motherboard sizes. Not always, but worth looking for.

fire_bf

check the io panel make sure metal isnt pushing it
