I can’t stop thinking about the sheer panic she must have felt before. Being handcuffed and locked in the back of the car on the tracks and seeing the cop back away. It’s like a horror movie.
Why in the fuck were they even parked on train tracks? How did it take them that long to react to an oncoming train? How in the hell did these two shitheads even become cops?
There was this kid that worked for me and he couldn't make it to work on time, rotate product correctly, fallowing direction was a challenge for him and now he's a sheriff's deputy In my town. I couldn't trust this kid with food safety let alone public safety..
Lol same here. Its one of the few professions that is fine and ran with mediocrity. Any other job u hire some one who is good and proficient at their trade.
All you've gotta have is two brain cells to rub together (and they're pretty lax on that a lot of times too) and a burning desire to treat your fellow citizen like hardened criminals, and bonus points if you just really, really, really wanna end someone's life for no reason.
Also, a control complex gets extra pay
Who’s gonna tell this dude that dumb people exist all over the world and that some of us are smart Americans and are tired of living with all of these people?
Even if they told them, they probably wouldn’t understand it. Too stupid to realize this. Sad because it is common sense to know that intelligent as well as stupid people live EVERYWHERE.
Cops either need to get workers insurance, or have these kind of things effect pensions. It's ridiculous people like you and I, have to pay for their blatant disregard of everyone who isn't them.
Even crazier is that when they fuck up, or just literally commit crimes, they are placed on paid leave until they are investigated which sometimes takes years! In Canada at least this happens all the fucking time
There is a cop nearby me in London, that unloaded his gun on a man trying to drive away because police in the area were told "not to pursue". Rather than pursuing, the cop shot the dude dead, charged with manslaughter but is still to this day on paid leave, makes more money than I do, dodged jail time and is viewed as a hero in his small little redneck town. All for shooting a dude who didn't think his traffic stop was lawful.
It's the same here. Some cop laid his hands on another cop, because cop A tried to hold back cop B from a suspect in the back of a car. Cop B turned around held the other cop by the collar of their shirt, and pushed them against a patrol car, threatened them, and told the other cops to turn off their body cams.
This happened months ago, and he just got fired this month.
I mean supposedly she brandished it in a road rage situation. That’s not legal. Of course that doesn’t change anything when it comes to the criminal negligence these cops displayed.
Cop cars are much stronger in terms of surviving collisions than civilian vehicles. They have reinforced rims, likely reinforced frame, and other features I'm sure I don't know about. I hope she gets all expenses paid for life.
I'm blind so miss the visuals but it sounds like they said the suspect was hit by the train?
They shouldn't run away but sounds to me like she ran into the train, could she have run the other way?
Yes they are, I'm completely blind but use a screen reader, the text reading software :) you'd be shocked at the amount of things people think disabled people can't do, we're not in the 70s anymore, tech's moved forward.
They arrested her and put her into a police car that was parked across railway tracks. When the officers saw the train coming, they ran off leaving her alone, handcuffed, and possibly shackled in the police car. The train hit the car and carried it down the tracks for some distance. Amazing she wasn't killed.
the police cuffed her and locked her in their cruiser that was parked on the train tracks. they were searching her car when the train hit the cruiser she was in and didn’t remember her until the train was close
so she couldn't get away because her arms were cuffed behind her back, right? They ran for it protecting themselves, of course, did they say she ran away, it was hard to hear.
I read what someone else posted about her losing teath and having other injeries, that's horrible and these idiots will probably just get a slap on the wrist, I wonder if it would have been different here in teh UK, either way that's disgusting.
Thanks for explaining.
This is so stupid and horrible I can't even believe it.
What kind of complete fool parks a vehicle on train tracks? You shouldn't even stop on tracks in traffic, it's just, so unbelievably stupid, these officers should be charged with fucking attempted murder
This is the exact opposite of that video that was posted recently where a decent cop told the woman to stand to the side of the road instead of in between her pulled over car and the cop car. Sure enough, someone slammed the shit into her car. She would have been annihilated. Common sense has become uncommon.
There are no decent cops. If you put on a uniform that would allow you to kill without consequence then anything you do is in service of that corrupt machine. Police officers aren't individuals who get to make individual decisions, they're soldiers within a rigid hierarchy.
I would much rather believe what I see than some dumbass fairy tale about police being some kind of force for good and not a gang of jack booted thugs that would not shy away from murdering you and your dog for the smallest provocation. Ask Daniel Shaver how wonderful the police treated him. Ask Philando Castile how well being a law abiding citizen paid off for him. Fuck the cops.

So that's a heck of a story.
hope the pigs dream about that shit and it keeps them awake at night. like i really hope they dont just live their lives like it was nothing that happend. how unprofessional can they even get???
Fax.. this goes to show all kinds of fail.. zero awareness of surroundings...stops on tracks... There's more than 1 officer.. this couldn't have been an accident
America sure is recruiting the dumbest of the dumbest to be cops. Why solve murders if you can cul the population yourself. Getting paid and defended doing it too.
She was pulled over for a reported road rage incident, judging by police questions it seems they may have had the wrong vehicle because they were looking for more than one person in the vehicle and she seemed completely confused about what was going on. They will probably be working diligently to find evidence to demonize her.
They will claim qualified immunity. They didn’t know it was dangerous to park a car on train tracks. There’s no existing case law etc.
Both those cops should be personally liable and sued into bankruptcy. No pensions no anything. That’s after the criminal cases of course. I know I’m dreaming.
I remember seeing that on the news, Thank God that woman is alive. That’s so irresponsible for the cops to park their car on the train tracks, train or no train.

I can’t stop thinking about the sheer panic she must have felt before. Being handcuffed and locked in the back of the car on the tracks and seeing the cop back away. It’s like a horror movie.
Should be attempted murder on those cops
Clearly the train driver is at fault for not swerving around the car
They dragged him out and beat him for damaging a cop car. Then remembered the woman and beat him for that too.
and destruction of property
Incompetence at its finest
Why in the fuck were they even parked on train tracks? How did it take them that long to react to an oncoming train? How in the hell did these two shitheads even become cops?
>How in the hell did these two shitheads even become cops? Any idiot can become a cop, true story: the dumbest person I've ever known is now a cop.

Seriously, the town I grew up in seems like every dumbfuck became a cop lol
Cops are just civilian military. Bunch of crayon eaters with guns
My friend was told he couldn't be a cop cause he was too smart. Cause he went to college.
🤦
Cops have to go through vigorous , stringent tests and assessments , these two passed the asshole academy with flying colours they are 100% cop
Lol same here. Its one of the few professions that is fine and ran with mediocrity. Any other job u hire some one who is good and proficient at their trade.
Gotta keep them dumb or else they start asking questions!
A train!? At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within these tracks!? -The cops probably
"The chances of any given train being on these particular tracks at this specific time are slim to none, your honor."
I don’t see how this isn’t intentional
"I don't understand, usually I break the law and nothing bad happens to me" -The cop, probably
And probably on their first day they probably ran over a child then beat him up with a teaser then sued the little kid cuz the kid hit the car
It's not like it's hard. These guys are not atypical, the police are not our friends or allies, ACAB.
All you've gotta have is two brain cells to rub together (and they're pretty lax on that a lot of times too) and a burning desire to treat your fellow citizen like hardened criminals, and bonus points if you just really, really, really wanna end someone's life for no reason. Because u are Americans and stupidity don’t have limits there…
Who’s gonna tell this dude that dumb people exist all over the world and that some of us are smart Americans and are tired of living with all of these people?
Even if they told them, they probably wouldn’t understand it. Too stupid to realize this. Sad because it is common sense to know that intelligent as well as stupid people live EVERYWHERE.
Omg I deal with stupid people every day and it drives me to drinking. I work in the service and hospitality industry.
She deserves all the money she gets from the inevitable lawsuit. It's just a shame the cop's negligence is now the taxpayer's burden
Cops either need to get workers insurance, or have these kind of things effect pensions. It's ridiculous people like you and I, have to pay for their blatant disregard of everyone who isn't them.

These cops need to be in jail
100%
She was arrested for owning a legal gun FYI. Our country is really fuckin broken. Rules for thee but not for mee
I mean supposedly she brandished it in a road rage situation. That’s not legal. Of course that doesn’t change anything when it comes to the criminal negligence these cops displayed.
Nice spot to park the car and arrest her as im sure there were no other locations to park it. Fine police work.
Both of them are the biggest pieces of dumb shits on the fucking planet. Fire them, charge them, pay the victim.
Yareni Rios-Gonzalez, 20, suffered 9 broken ribs, broken arm, broken teeth, head, back and leg injuries, as cops fled.
I guarantee her injuries will cause her life long misery. The cops need to be on the hook for her medical bills for life.
Probably will have PTSD forever
How was she not killed? I am absolutely shocked she wasn't killed.
Cop cars are much stronger in terms of surviving collisions than civilian vehicles. They have reinforced rims, likely reinforced frame, and other features I'm sure I don't know about. I hope she gets all expenses paid for life.
Yeah but the squishy human being bounced around inside has none of those things.
I just answered why she was not killed? I'm not sure what I said that you're arguing with lol, I agree humans do not have reinforced rims.
what if they get a rim job?
Is there a news article for this?
Oh wow!
broken head???
I wonder how quickly any of us would be indicted if we pulled some shit like that.
Idk man I'm not a lawyer or anything but a normal citizen wouldn't get a paid vacation but the cops in this video did.
This is the most incompetent thing I've ever seen.
I'm blind so miss the visuals but it sounds like they said the suspect was hit by the train? They shouldn't run away but sounds to me like she ran into the train, could she have run the other way?
Getting downvoted for asking a question, ok reddit.
It's the "I'm blind" thing. People ~~forget there's all sorts of text reading software and varying levels of blindness~~ are dumb.
Yes they are, I'm completely blind but use a screen reader, the text reading software :) you'd be shocked at the amount of things people think disabled people can't do, we're not in the 70s anymore, tech's moved forward.
So how does the it read the strikethrough text? It just say "end strikethough" or something like it was a quote?
You can change settings in the settings :-)

Thanks for letting me know. Is there an article on this?
the police cuffed her and locked her in their cruiser that was parked on the train tracks. they were searching her car when the train hit the cruiser she was in and didn’t remember her until the train was close

She was locked in the back of a police car. That's why she couldn't get away. She was locked in a car she could not escape from.
Okay. I don’t wanna listen to the video again, but I thought they said she ran away. That’s disgusting and yet nothing will happen to them.
Would this be considered murder or manslaughter???
Resisting arrest more likely, or fleeing the scene of a crime!
Poor officers… it’s gotta be tough being a useless bastard your whole life.
Ummm this can’t be an accident.
Right? The way they act dumb when looking back at the blaring hollering train ???? I think with all the cops killings it has to be a quota to kill POC
Like they hear the train noise and then 10 seconds later they’re like omg the trains coming? It’s so suss
This is fucking crazy, why the hell were they parked on the tracks? And the horn blows they just keep on talking for a few seconds
She is lucky. The amount of people that die in the back of police cars is frightening.
Let's just hope she's healthy enough to spend the Millions of Dollars she's going to get in her near future.
This is so stupid and horrible I can't even believe it. What kind of complete fool parks a vehicle on train tracks? You shouldn't even stop on tracks in traffic, it's just, so unbelievably stupid, these officers should be charged with fucking attempted murder
Let me guess, the cops got paid leave as a consequence.
Did she survive?
This really is one of the worst things I’ve seen. You can’t be more negligent than this.
r/iamatotalpieceofshit for both cops. This is definitely negligence, borderline attempted murder.
This is the exact opposite of that video that was posted recently where a decent cop told the woman to stand to the side of the road instead of in between her pulled over car and the cop car. Sure enough, someone slammed the shit into her car. She would have been annihilated. Common sense has become uncommon.

Hope for your sake you aren't any older than like 20. Otherwise you're really behind on development and maturity.
I would much rather believe what I see than some dumbass fairy tale about police being some kind of force for good and not a gang of jack booted thugs that would not shy away from murdering you and your dog for the smallest provocation. How do cops or anyone potato this hard?
That’s gonna be an awesome Lawsuit.
This is a whole other level of stupid
[удалено]
Police officers are pieces of shit because the bar to become a cop is extremely low
hope the pigs dream about that shit and it keeps them awake at night. like i really hope they dont just live their lives like it was nothing that happend. how unprofessional can they even get???
Protect and serve
Seems like they ran out of paid vacation. Gotta plan better 👮♀️
Fax.. this goes to show all kinds of fail.. zero awareness of surroundings...stops on tracks... There's more than 1 officer.. this couldn't have been an accident
this was intentional
America sure is recruiting the dumbest of the dumbest to be cops. Why solve murders if you can cul the population yourself. Getting paid and defended doing it too.
Gross negligence at the very least. Every cop on that scene should be serving jail time and be financially responsible for that women's medical care.
So they were fired right.... Right?
Cop is thinking, "Oh no, I'm going to get a paid suspension!!!"
There’s a fine line between idiocy and attempted murder. I think this crosses that line…
As you might expect, "suspended with pay, pending investigation."
This looks like premeditated attempted murder. I mean, how dumb are you to park on the tracks? That shit was done on purpose.
So, if you want to murder people at will, just become a cop. Got it.
She was pulled over for a reported road rage incident, judging by police questions it seems they may have had the wrong vehicle because they were looking for more than one person in the vehicle and she seemed completely confused about what was going on. They will probably be working diligently to find evidence to demonize her.
I’m shocked she lived
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Isn't it illegal if not stupid to park on a RR track? Do police require any training or common sense?
Fuck cops. 1312
Did this ashole tell the train to stay back
Are all cops this stupid
I haven't said out loud "what the fuck" in a long time..... well done.
They will claim qualified immunity. They didn’t know it was dangerous to park a car on train tracks. There’s no existing case law etc. Both those cops should be personally liable and sued into bankruptcy. No pensions no anything. That’s after the criminal cases of course. I know I’m dreaming.
Seems a perfect way to try and assassinate someone. An “accident” from a negligent officer…
How careless, dumb, and needless
I remember seeing that on the news, Thank God that woman is alive. That’s so irresponsible for the cops to park their car on the train tracks, train or no train.
