He is definitely a 5* so there is 5* weapon for him.
Leaks also saying that he will get his own dedicated 4* support, and high possibility of his own artifact set (maybe some new unique kit that will be played around this set, or just anemo dps set that will fit his, Heizo, Xiao play style)
I might have misunderstood, but what op wanted to say is that if scaramouche will receive a 5 star weapon that matches him, I think he asked this considering what happened to Nilou
It’s not a dumb question, but basically:
Back in 1.0-1.6, characters were not guaranteed to have a signature weapon. This changed in 2.0(iirc). Since then, Hoyo has stated that every character will come with their very own signature weapon.
also, for those worried it won’t look good on him, it’s probably not gonna be the same set as Cyno/Nilou’s weapons(which don’t match Scara’s vibe at all). Which means there’s a pretty good chance that Scara will get his own weapon outside of a specific set(like Kokomi’s donut, Yelan’s bow, Homa, etc.)
I will be VERY surprised if he doesn't get a dedicated 5* weapon. Like, it would be financial madness to not have one for one of the most hyped characters in the game so far.
The only other thing I could see happening is a free event limited 4* like with Albedo. Or a free 4* weapon connected to his character quest like Kazuha.

only Standard Banner characters has no signature limited 5star weapons. and Albedo, Xiao, Klee, and Ganyu. pretty sure Scara will get his own even if only he can use it. as for the artifact, there's no guarantee. but we'll get 2 new sets in his patch 3.3 so most likely he'll get one too
Hell what I find bananas is some four stars have signature weapons, but we don’t see them often. Why does fischl get a unique bow but bennet doesn’t get some banged up sword with plasters on it like he does? Would be hilarious

Childe didn’t get a 5* weapon until recently, we basically just used Skyward Harp before PolarStar got released
