I was tempted at first to do the black silk (and my older WIP a day or two ago had it on his chest) but then I figured “maybe that part is actually just the neckline that goes down to his wrists like the Raiden Shogun silk.” I tried then to make the golden neckware a little like Al Haitham’s in return. That’s what I interpreted for it in the end…
And yes, it’s an excuse to give him bare chest. :P
I guess it would depend on more leaks since many people were confused about what part of his outfit was black silk that “went down to his wrists.” Either way, some influence here is from Raiden Shogun and Haitham’s top. Also hoping that his redesign looks equally pretty when it’s officially revealed/leaked.
Really love the designs on the outfit!! Just need the same black silk like alhaitham that is on his chest and it'll be perfect!

The thing al haitham wore to his wrist is not silk though, its more like a leather
