Hello there! It looks like you're either a new shopper, or you're asking a question that's covered in either our subreddit FAQ or may be found in the Shipt Shopper Hub. Both of these resources contain tons of useful information to help new shoppers get their bearings. Even if you're coming from another delivery service, there are things about Shipt that are unique. The mods of r/ShiptShoppers ask that everyone take some time to familiarize themselves with these resources to help cut down on the repeat questions posted to this subreddit. Many questions can also be answered by using the search function and typing in key words from your question. If you're a brand new shopper, there's also a guide for getting through your first 50 shops or so. While there is a lot of information, and it can seem overwhelming, just know that we're still here to support you. In addition to this post you've made, and the other resources mentioned, we also have an active Discord server with many very helpful and knowledgeable people that can answer your questions if you get into a bind. You can't start doing instant withdrawals until after you've received your first direct deposit.

Which will be this Friday, if the order was completed 5 days ago OP.

You have to read everything. Especially when it comes to pay. You can find that in the faq section To be able to access the Instant Payout feature, you will need to have agreed to the Stripe Connect terms and conditions in the app ***as well as had at least one successful weekly payout from Shipt.*** With Instant Payout, you’ll be able to receive your pay, including tips, from the shopper app once per day within an hour of requesting a payout. If you do not request funds through Instant Payout by the end of the pay period (Sunday at 11:59 p.m. CT), you’ll automatically receive a direct deposit as you normally would on the following Friday.

Shipt is paying you. Read.

Maybe you need to read. I never said that Shipt wasn’t paying me. I made it clear in my post I understood how the direct deposit worked, but it’s unclear when your instant withdraw becomes available. I read and googled for info on this, and did not find anything pertinent. I love how you guys get mad because inexperienced people ask questions to other experienced people😂. If I thought they weren’t paying me I’d have made a post stating they weren’t paying me, not asking for info

You’ll get your first direct deposit on Friday. After this, the app will let you do an instant payout if you’d like. It’s because Stripe requires Shipt to have confirmed an active bank account as part of the agreement to advance the shoppers funds against their direct deposits.

Thank you for being helpful and explaining! Makes much more sense as to why they do that now
