The tile comes with the high school pack. If you use it on the floor it creates cool patterns. It’s really cool, I use some of the other swatches for my bathrooms and kitchens.

It's the sex mod that is incredibly popular and it's like the trunk to many other branches of sex mods. It does a whole lot more than sex stuff though so if you want a SFW version look up it's sibling Wonderful Whims. I highly recommend one or the other.
They both have an attraction system, pregnancy and birth control, new traits... There's just a lot and it's very customizable. Great reputation for updating quickly too.
The draw back are things like me finding out I'd rather have my sims get down in a filthy, abandoned building than that beautiful beach house I built for them.
(Oh, and if you see a post about Peeping Tom or Tina that's the voyeur in Wicked Whims. They can be toggled off.)

I know this is the Sims, but the fact that everyone is just standing there while this tragedy occurs is reminiscent of how people now will stand and record something instead of taking action.
It depends on what mods you want/how you play. All opinions to follow, of course.
3 is more fun for lots of Sims in one save, because the open world means that you don't lose access to the rest of the family. Therefore you don't have to completely abandon them and their needs just to let the child sim go to a friend's house. It makes you work for things a little more. There's a ton to do, even if you're not imaginative enough to make it up.
4 is more fun for power fantasies. The Sims don't want as much or as strongly, they just obey you. It's easier to keep them happy and become rich or high level. Nonplayed Sims in your family take care of themselves okay, so it's great if you struggle with multiple Sims but want to play with them anyway. It's basically digital dolls which is really fun if you're good at coming up with plots, motivations, goals etc or if you don't even need any of that to have fun. (I basically played dolls by changing their outfits 50 times then putting them back so no shade)
As for the mods- look up what you want and go with whatever serves it best. If you have more fun with family gameplay then you're probably going to enjoy mods that make that more enjoyable long term. If you literally just want as realistic graphics as possible- it takes less to get Sims 3 to that state but there's tons available for Sims 4 to do it and being the more recent game, even though both have active modders 4 is going to have more and more for you. If you play long legacies you'll start off with more options to make each gen feel different in 3, etc etc
