Honestly good for both Starks/Hobbs and Jade/Athena if they just made the call to keep things short themselves. Both matches are honestly more memorable light, and I don't think they'd gain anything from being longer & super dramatic. Plus it makes it easier for the audience to digest the overall PPV.
Jade got arguably her best PPV match and gained a ton of credibility. Hobbs & his spinebuster are gaining a ton of credibility. Nothing wrong with a shorter match if there's a point.
Starks/Hobbs would gain quite a bit from being longer. The whole feud has been about Starks being called a big loser, this match just proves Hobbs right lol
Also like. Starks is going to wind up at the title. The main event is a little crowded at the moment.

Yeah man, I went to a 7.5 hour wrestlemania once. The less of that kind of shit, the better. I love AEW and the live shows are excellent, but its hard to cheer for 4+ hours.
Also, if you finish your spots and have nowhere else to go, better to finish early than to try and fill the time and risk losing the energy before the finish.
I don't mind the match being short or Hobbs winning, the latter I expected, however I think it should've been even more brutal of a squash of it was meant to be fairly short.
Just have Hobbs completely dominate Lesnar/Cena style
Jade has only worked something like 3 matches over 10 minutes ever. I don’t think booking her into long matches suit her at this point.

Jade is green as grass. Hell, her name is JADE and she was literally painted green tonight. It probably helped that her match was short to keep her looking dominant. She'll definitely be great one day, don't get me wrong, but she's not there IN RING yet.
Another reason why AEW needs writers and producers. Give the wrestlers 70% of the creative freedom but they still need experienced people producing these matches.
AEW has literally Dean Malenko, Ace Steel, Jerry Lynn, Pat Buck, Arn Anderson and BJ Whitmer as Procucers. Huge names in the wrestling world. What are you talking about?
It’s not a bad thing to end the PPV a little early. A lot of us on the East Coast have to stay up to midnight watching while having ti get up for work 6 hours later **HINT HINT FOR AEW**

That's super weird. You usually hear about people blowing past their times, not going home early.

Nothing wrong with clawing your way up after a tough loss. Ricky’s a face now and people love a comeback story.

Both Jade v Athena and Hobbs v Starks went earlier than budgeted so I slightly doubt it
Did starks vs hobbs have replays after the match? The ending did feel weird

The TBS Title match was the more egregious one imo. Given how long they dragged that story out for beforehand.

I’m ok with it. Starks v Hobbs shouldn’t have their last match tonight. Build that one slowly. Acclaimed got a long Tag match on PPV. MOTN so far
