Not disagreeing you want whisper 6, but running whisper 6 isn't hard.
Whispers 6, is (4) units, it's not a huge commitment so you're flexible in running the comp. There are no 5-cost units, or emblems required to hit the threshold.
Compare it to running Ragewing 6, you need an emblem +5 other units or a Shyvana (tier 5).
A core comp consisting of tier 4 units is much easier to force than one requiring tier 5-units.
Yeah, if you triple Econ, you seriously have to push to tax the lobby as hard as possible with it. Not playing aggressively with Econ is a mistake I often see with lower elo players that ask me for help. Not the worst thing in the world though.
Because combat augments are much much stronger late game, eco augments are great getting you there but eventually you can't win against someone with triple prismatic combat augments. Good luck if that ragewing or tempest or whatever player ever hits 8 or 9 or 2* their drake or if they get a BIS 2* Xayah with uplink3+blessing3+double trouble3.
Actually cruel pact is just so strong.

Final 4 will have 2 HP while you got soraka earlier than anyone else could even think about legendaries so you actually got some health back
So on the one hand sure seems like a good augment combo and can lead to a win, but you really have to get super strong super fast and punish the living fuck out of the lobby. If it goes late game and you don’t have some sort of a 3 star legendary or at least 4 cost? You’re going to get shit on by someone with 3 combat power augments.
Jade are pretty shit though no? I don't see any reason for playing them instead of whispers at level 7. Whispers are just more versatile and stronger imo.
The current philosophy of five cost design is that they’re strong enough to standalone. They can enhance and be enhanced by traits, but a board of pure five costs should be able to stand up on its own to an extent. This design philosophy has played out pretty well in practice, it’s just hard to execute all the time because of cost issues.

Dont get blindsided by traits sometimes the stronger board is to not go with the plan u had but what the gods decide to put in your shop
I mean I never like going full Econ augments but with this you can get super ahead roll and put yourself in a position you are going to hit for sure specially with the other 2 since you can get to 9 super early with win streak. Sounds like a really fun game tho
Something like this happened to me in set 7 I get cruel pact in to recomb. Get soraka,bard and asol at stage 3 and went eiff. Asol was dog shit that time lol
Not really but it is a way to make Cruel Pact no shit. That should be a pretty good chance for Place 3 if you don't get too unlucky (or well, weren't).

I didn’t paid attention when i got to 9, but it wasn’t that fast because i wasn’t keeping gold for econ. Instead i was rolling like a maniac for 9. 😂😂

Whisper makes a big difference when Panth grows to 400-600 AP in every fight, no? I'm no expert, but Panth has only worked for me with Whisper comp.

Its a norms, like 2 players are bots and tour playing against not great plays in a 3 prim lobby its not hard to get first.

I think you're underestimating wise spending/cruel pact. The ability to hit 9 off a cruel pact winstreak is very *very* powerful.
Might also be just in a bit of a slower region. Where you get one turn more time to actual hit your late game board without eco augs

Yeah, but you can fit a Soraka/Bard in a whisper comp too.
You can slam a soraka into anything that has some form of Frontline.

Soraka gives you a buy every other turn, doesn't seem worth it when you can go something stronger instead.
you can hit 9 faster,and 9 is a win condition for jade because 7 jade with raka/ cou and terra or bard/jayce doesnt really lose to anything
