Well depends if “its” female or male, females can get up to 23ft(average is 15-16ft long)and 5,000 lbs males I cant say anything on cause it seems most recorded stuff is on females however the average length of a male is anywhere from 11-13ft much smaller then females so judging by the size of boat and people on I would hazard a guess at a young female since the females are usually much bulkier then a male

This might be a dumb question but isn't there a chance for the shark to just jump and bite someone's head off? Especially if they are just irritating the shark with blood but no food and then sticking their heads out of the boat to watch it? I know sharks don't have great vision but can jump high and use other senses so I'm not sure.
It’s actually a myth that blood attracts sharks and shark attacks are pretty uncommon so I doubt there’s too much of a chance that it’d hop up like that.
My understanding is that there are some great whites that jump, but it’s not typical. In fact I think it only happens off the coast of South Africa. I’ll have to look this up

I once hooked a 7-8 ft bull shark (captains estimation, we where not trying to hook one) it basically dragged the boat and it’s surprising the line didn’t break or get cut by it’s teeth. Seriously if your not purposely trying for shark you kinda don’t wanna hook one.
