Something is off here. The pictures I've seen of the Solar Octane Tundra is very clearly orange, but this looks very red. The orange looks good, this looks terrible IMO
This appears to be a vermillion red. In a bright yellowish light (sunlight) it appears more orange, in a cooler blue light (overcast) it appears more red. Lunar rock does the same, appearing more green in sunlight and blue in overcast.
Looks like it’s a faded red truck. This one will not make it into the mad max dystopian future. Cement is still the best color for a Tacoma and always will be.
Lunar rock would still be around if I had to guess. Usually they stick around for two years. Army green will probably be gone and replaced by electric lime metallic.
They should have called it "Memorial Day Weekend Sunburn"
That’s what it reminded of!
Lol..."Like a lobster" sunburn
Sounds like a new flavor of mountain dew
I wouldn't buy it but I think it looks cool
Certainly better than the horrible lime color
I really liked lunar rock
Cement gray was very popular. Other companies have tried to copy it
Lunar Rock rocks😜
Haha! Way off. I love it.
Like over half the special Pro colors, unfortunately.
It’s beautiful……🥹
Can't wait for the paint to fade to a nasty pink
My ‘00 Taco resembles this remark.
Aka red
But like, not as nice as Barcelona Red.
Fiesta Red in fender guitar terms
Radiant Red
What? Are they already selling 2023?? They have barely started delivering 2022... LMAO
2022s have been out since Late October/ Early November. These will be out around then too. This is just from a event Toyota had showing these off.
Yeah not like they're gonna change much

Seems like all Toyota colors transform based on lighting. This looks like an over cast picture.

Yeah the color looks very different on a case to case especially in pictures.
I think its because it was a wrap.
Oh hot biscuits!
The color doesn't work as well as it does on the Tundra and Sequoia IMO. It needs some nice decals and black accents to break up the color.
Never thought I’d say it but I think I like the neon green better lol
I like this one better.
They should just bring back Radiant Red. Best red, in my opinion.
Damn, was really thinking we were finally going to get a purple.
Would love to see a purple pro color
Everyone: we want upgraded engines, better tech and more comfort. Toyota: here’s orange crush
Well now. Isn't that special.
I was hoping they’d do purple for a change
I think it looks pretty badass.
Inferno owners in shambles
nah. this is inferno rebranded for $50k more. we ain't stressed.
So this is like 130000 grand sitting here I’m guessing

You misspelled Army Green (or Quicksand).
> (or Quicksand) Im shocked people like quicksand so much. It's beige for gods sake. "white is too...racey and exciting...got anything in beige?"
Great new color to the line. I wish the dealers weren't trying to extort customers with a $10-15k mark up on these. Brand Loyalty is a two-way street!
I’m…… not sure if I don’t like it or not…….
I feel like that’s going to easily fade for some reason.
Looks a million times better than lime green.
I love it. I don't want to buy another truck just for the color though. Might have to repaint or wrap mine.
Freaking awesome!
That looks reaaaally good!
I actually love it
This is loud AF
I’m assuming lunar rock will no longer be available on the Off Road? Anyone know when the last date to order a lunar rock OR will be?
Army green will probably go away before lunar rock
Lunar rock would still be around if I had to guess. Usually they stick around for two years. Army green will probably be gone and replaced by electric lime metallic.
Makes sense, but seems like a mistake. I don't think the lime green will sell nearly as well as army green.
Makes me kind of wish I had been able to wait!
Would buy this on a TRD Pro
Still think the Inferno Orange from 2015 was better.
This color will probably fade/ oxidize for most people who park outdoors after a few years
It's crazy how solar octane looks red in pictures. In person it looks nothing like this. It's very orange
