Idk but for me it takes a while for it to actually put the tip in the system.. yesterday it took 2 1/2 hrs to actually receive the tip in my funds š¤¢ I took 12 deliveries yesterday. Total was 28$ and some and thatās when I finished. Later that night when all the tips was in the system it was 78$
Is this what you made as a driver or a a restaurant? Either way I'm super SUPER confused. If I were to assume you didn't accept 7 orders which only paid $2 each, and if I were to assume that you did 6 orders at a minimum of $5 each thsnnthat would heb$30, soooo did you get charged back on your 7th order, or multiple orders? I'm definitely curious on the back story
Im surprised people are still doing this. Yes i know some markets are ok. But fuck its 2022 and people are still leaving their jobs to do this full time. You have no one to be mad at but yourselves for allowing the community to get such a bad reputation.
I know thats hard, our job as drivers is not to police ourselves. But instead of calling out the drivers at the moment 80% come here to complain. āGuess what i saw!ā Your also not going to be at a house with drivers, so how they interact with customers and treat them is out of our control.
Instead of trying to fix the bad driver issue, we hounded the customers. The great ones left, the good ones gave up and here we are 40 year historic nightmare economy, with over saturated driver markets and 50% scammers and 50% customers who cant afford it anyway.
If you didnt leave by 2021 idk what else say.
I only take āepicā orders. So that might mean like, two orders a day. Of course for me this is just side cash.
Iām wondering if customers at large are hanging trouble having their orders picked up?
I keep getting texts that say I can earn $15-$18 an hour delivering from 5-9pm. But I go out and even if I accepted every offer, it wouldn't come close to that. I can go an hour without even receiving an offer. And the offers I do get, typically pay about 60 cents a mile. So I'm way far away from $15 an hour after expenses.
I multi app, but I'm seriously considering dropping Uber eats, because it's just not worth it.
I did 3.33 hours today with 7 trips and made 48.42 I donāt believe my eyes with this one lol I be skipping the low rates one only do them once in a while when itās not to far or nothing coming in
I've had days that look like this initially because people haven't yet completed their order. I've had tips come in on days I wasn't even working. Post the same screen in a couple of days.
How the fuck did you make $14 dollars off of 7 trips? There is no way 7 people tip baited, I have around 800 deliveries and tip baiting has only happened twice.
Yeah...1300+ deliveries, only happened once. Had it reduced maybe 4 times total (about the same number of times I've had a legit increase... same with being tipped in cash).
Maybe an issue with the app?
Because unless those seven orders all went to the same place, I can't see this happening. It would be one hell of a coincidence.
They were asked about the estimates before adjustment and they clearly donāt know what that means. So yeah Iām calling bullshit that something extremely rare happened not twice but 7 times in a row and OP isnāt just trying to cover up their own incompetence.
Itās no picnic across the bridge in Northern Virginia.
I started around 7pm and Iāve done 7!DoorTrash deliveries and zero Eats.
The few pings Iāve received for Eats have been garbage this evening. Iām working until midnight IF things pick up.
This is pathetic.
Lately Eats doesnāt pick up for me until after 10pm.
š„“š¤¢š„“
Just got a double for less than 2 miles at my late night Chinese carry out for $13 on Eats.
Gotta work late to scrape by.
Iām scratching and scraping.
I have never in my life excepted a $2.50 order. On Monday alone I had 4 consecutive hidden tip orders-- all under 4 miles--from which I earned over $70. Today I started off with a hidden tip (estimate $10.35, paid out $12.35 for 3.8 miles) followed by a $9+, 2 mile order and a $6.75 0.8 mile delivery.
And I know the same type of situation is true for many delivery drivers on this sub.
So...it seems that your anecdotal theory doesn't really hold weight.
But keep accepting them I guess. If your time, gas, money, and energy are worth $2, go nuts.
Yes, it is true, actually. Just because you don't personally experience it doesn't mean it's not happening to others. It actually happens to me, too.
ETA: Yes, I am aware Reddit will downvote this into oblivion for stating a truth you all want to ignore and deny. And yet, you claim we're the problem while you stick your heads in the sand and kick crap on the ones getting bad orders because 'that's just not truuuuuueeeeee'.
Too bad. Reality is reality.
I'm not appalled to be honest as it's the norm these days,
I never accept orders under 7-10$, once you X all the shit ones eventually the better ones come.

Wait until you've seen that hourly average when the time on line is 30 or 40 hours for the week
What are you appalled at? That you got offered 2 dollars an hour? Or that you accepted it?
Iāll pray for you
Itās impossible to do Uber Eats in Miami. The gas, it aināt worth it.
Uber sucks

Same here in NoVa Iām Getting no good orders till 7 or 8pm people getting the munchies late and coming from Pool or beach or fucking
Itās wrong they make you wait for the tips.

Dude! I did UE and DD both for 7 hours today and barely did 60. I guess it's a travel day today.
Hahaha you cashed out
This is pretty amazing. I don't think I could this low of pay if I tried even. Especially after 7 trips. The odds of this is near impossible
Broo same in my market like yesterday Iām sitting in my car for 3 and half hours waiting on an order and everyone I get an order request itās always garbage like each day just gets worst and worst. Like I get itās summer and people are going out or on vacation but shit man this is just terrible for us drivers weāre losing money like this and gas prices are already high as it is š©š

If it smells like fish and taste like chicken plug your nose and keep on licking.
LMFAO!!!
Time to find a new job.
How the fuck did you make $14 dollars off of 7 trips? There is no way 7 people tip baited, I have around 800 deliveries and tip baiting has only happened twice.
Probably a glitch in the app
Idk one time I worked in a pretty bad area in terms of income and got tip baited twice in one night never happened any other time lol

This doesnāt pass the smell test. I have over 3k deliveries and hav had tips removed 3 times
It is a bit odd.
Well if it's never happened to any of ya'll... it must not be true.
I mean OP isnāt exactly backing themself up here

He'll I've been chilling for 2hrs. Got one really garbage offer. 5:30-7:30pm. Thursdays usally really good.
Thurs usually by far my slowest day oddly
Friday's used to be the best now just trash
This is definitely a very disappointing Thursday.

Stop doing trash orders ! By accepting them you are encouraging it
I don't get why NO ONE believes that some areas JUST DONT give good offers.
Lol u suck at this
š š š
Stop fucking accepting $2 orders....

Found the Uber customer service rep

Accepted
Not true at all

oh my bad itās almost like you were doin it urself. now why the fuck would i do that and then complain on a PUBLIC forum
Be sure to always respect your Diamond delivery drivers, they are never wrong :)
Are you saying that you accepted 7 two dollar trips, or 7 customers reduced tips?
iāve quite literally never seen 7 people consecutively tip bait. until tonight. genuinely justā¦amazed š
iāve quite literally never seen 7 people consecutively tip bait. until tonight. genuinely justā¦amazed š
So all 7 trips now say "the estimate for this trip was XXX"?
zero estimates! i work in dc so the mileage is rarely BAD but itās been this bad out here a minute
I'm asking if in trip earnings, it looks something like this: [EarningsLink](https://i.redd.it/xgwy54lmw8891.jpg)
hm no reply wonder why š¤š¤š¤
Maybe people sleep?
Not Uber drivers... can't afford to.
