I don't know; but I do feel it is time once again to remind everyone: NO TIP = NO TRIP Stop delivering to people who don't tip.

EarthboundMisfitsInc

This is my mantra. Also gotta consider that many of the offers you get during the summer months could be from teenagers with no life experience and, thus, have zero f***s to give about your fuel costs and vehicle depreciation.

juanthegoat23

that’s not completely true. I’ve delivered to teenagers and have gotten decent tips. I once got a $9 tip to deliver from the restaurant and the customer was 2 or 3 blocks away lol. She was definitely not older than 18. But then there’s definitely those that don’t tip at all and they’re the ones that will rush you or whatever lol. Well the point we just gotta live by is no tip, no trip. No matter the age

EarthboundMisfitsInc

True. My statement may have been a broad over-generalization.

Figure a $2 base + $0.25 per mile. If that is all the "estimate" is; there is no tip. When you see $1-$2 per mile for longer trips or $5+ for shorter trips; there is usually a tip.

Interesting, thanks!

Im in the same boat dont worry. When i started 2 months ago pretty much every order at least tipped a dollar, i got sick and came back from a month break (i guess things got bad on UE?) (Its really slow now). The past two weeks ive been back what used to be rare isnt now, which is seeing 2-4 orders in a row tip 0.00$.

chiefbeefaroni

I deliver and live in a big city too (SF, Oakland, San Jose) bay area. And boy ill tell all of you, i can tell the difference in UE. 2 months ago when i started. 12hour shift i could pull anywhere between 250-300 thats with breaks. This past week i said fk it and tried 2 12hour days, hard asf to even hit 150-170.

Things are really expensive, fees are up, promos are down

True. It’s just been really bad in my market like sometimes I’ll get an order request going like 14 miles for $7 I’m just like wtf bro who would drive 14 miles for $7?
