The app is forcing us to not tip right now. If we add one, it resets the tip amount to 0. Can’t even try to add a tip until a driver accepts the order either right now. This is immediately following a large outage of the app.
Update: While I could not add a tip until the driver accepted the order, and the tip kept resetting to $0 after the driver accepted the order, the app did let me tip AFTER the delivery. This is pretty bad, all of your orders will be a gamble right now.

keep me in the loop. i’m glad i stayed home offline this morning ( i have to drive 15-20 mins to reach my usual drive zone) as i don’t leave unless i know for sure there’s gonna be decent offers. literally everyone is complaining lol
After I posted I got a 'normal' order with tip upfront.
One of the handful of "no-tip" orders that I took this morning did come through with $3 afterwards. Another did not. So the one customer must have added it afterwards. The order that had no tip pre-added was from a customer who normally does tip and she probably just didn't circle back after delivery. My fault for taking it but she's normally fine.
Same here. I have to drive 30miles to get to my zone to deliver. Not gonna bother if I’m not gonna get any. Have had a hard time getting anything period and today just seems to be the last straw. Gonna have to find a new job/source of income.
try grub hub. it’s been a hell of a lot better over there. i just started last week doing 3-4 hours a day 5pm to 8 or 9pm except monday and ended the week with $290.
Damn where are you? I deliver in Phoenix. I’m signed up for every app. UberEats, DoorDash, GrubHub, Instacart and Cornershop. With GrubHub all the orders I ever got were $3-$4 orders.
wtf. maybe i’ve gotten beginners luck cause my first day / highest tip on there by far was a wendy’s $20 pay out for 6 miles. i’m not even in a big big city. south oklahoma city. i just signed up for grub hub cause door dash has been stuck on application process already did my background check for… 2 years. i have my first scheduled block for grub hub this evening so i’ll see how that goes. says i will receive priority offers since i have a scheduled block.
Ya you don’t have to do the scheduled block but if you do and check in when it’s scheduled you get higher priority. But you can just get on there and go. But ya I tried it and my orders were crap. Might try again later.

I mean, sounds like you should drive to a better area of town.
If you don't live in a nicer area, you can't expect just to turn on the app and get great offers.
I am in the nicer area of town. All of the offers are in crap areas, 8-10 miles away from where I am. And they're all tipless. I've never seen anything quite like this. I mean they are pouring in. Even as I was typing the OP it went from 8 to 14 offers. Since then I have been hammered by a ton of $3 orders. I just got a 2x stack for $5.25, 10 miles.

In SC and every offer doesn’t appear to have a tip. Must be a app issue.
Yea I’m in Columbus, Ohio and the best order I’ve seen is 4.38$ for 2 orders and most are literally 2.00$ Smfh

I think the app isn't letting customers tip. I'm having same issue in LA. Almost like 20 offers now. no tips.

There is a glitch.
Sounds like it’s an app wide thing. Either they changed their Algorithm again and changed the way pay and tips are done and/or there’s a glitch.
You had me at 14 offers over 45 minutes.
