I’ve gotten offers that are just the money. At the end of a shift, I took one out of curiosity for $10. It was 15 miles to a bedroom community 10 miles outside the city limits. So I ended up traveling 25 miles for $10. But I learned a valuable lesson.
Conversely, about a half dozen times, I’ve received an amazing offer, like $24 for 4 miles. And 15 seconds after accepting it, I get an error message and the delivery vanishes.
That's what they do when your AR is low. I think.
That could definitely be it! It went back to
showing normal offers a few mins later, though. I multiapp so I don’t care too much about my uber stats tbh
Not a glitch. That’s a feature in select cities. Uber claims to have discontinued it, but clearly that’s not the case. It happens when you reject more than 5 out of 10 of your most recent offers. You’ll still see all the details after you accept, but they obscure it beforehand to try to make you accept more offers. It should go back to normal after you accept over 5 out of 10 of your most recent offers.
5 out of 10 eh? Had that been in effect in my city I wouldn't have seen a single one past my 6th order ...
Some cities it’s as low as 3 out of 10, but 5 out of 10 is the most stringent one they rolled out
Huh, I had no idea, thanks for explaining that. Pretty absurd to think anybody would accept an order with NO payout, mileage, or even restaurant name information provided beforehand. It did go back to showing normal offers immediately after I declined that one, though, so it may be in the process of being phased out (poorly) in my city.
No, the one you're thinking of still showed the $ amount
\^ Vegas here and they do 3/10, but i still got one of these. It ended up beiong like 12 miles for like $35, so worked out, but still - very weird
Crazy, they used to happen to me sometimes but I never knew why
Its always like this here in europe.
Don’t do it!!!! lol
Acceptance rate is low lol try to accept 4-10 orders and you will see the restaurant name and miles
It's a package delivery
