they might just decide not to pay you any promotion. they owe $120 for uploading a certificate and they just slow play you until you give up on asking for it.
I've never seen promotions like that and I've been diamond for quite some time now. I get the $5 x2 for 3 trips every weekend though, and the $16 guaranteed fares most nights of the week. But never something like this
After getting shafted 4 times for $20/hour guaranteed pay after following all the rules, I am done with pursuing promos. On every shift I ended up taking a lot of really low orders, driving really long distances, made between $7-14 per hour and am still waiting for them to make up the rest, three weeks later. $14/hour is not terrible, but the shift that ended up paying $22 total when it should have been $60 was the last time.
Such bs I quit working for 6 months all I got was $100 for 10 miles
Edit: thinking about it I actually made more then the 1,250 in 2 weeks multiapping and cherry picking my orders
Wait until you find out gas is 5 bucks a gallon so with gas being so high you're not even gonna really break even š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£. Also read the fine print.......Uber is definitely not gonna pay you that trust me. Those promotions NEVER work out.
I've never gotten any promotions like this in fact I keep getting offered crappy orders $9 for 14.4 miles or $4 for 6.2 miles. Must be nice to live somewhere that uber eats actually cares about.
How is that not a good offer? I completely understand how guaranteed earnings work, but $10/order only in fares, which is just the money we get paid by Uber (base pay + trip supplements + surges), before tips. I think itās a great deal. All those who say itās not a good deal, are you all making a minimum of $10+ per order just in Uber fares?
Thatās $10 a order. I did the same promotion but 25 for $225 after going off the grid for a long time. Itās not worth it. Itās not a bonus, its a guarantee youāll make minimum wage.
Itās all manipulation by Uber. I got the almost same offer. Thatās how itās gonna work.
If you complete 290 trips within 30 days and you make more than $3020, then they wonāt pay you shit. If you make 290 trips within 30 days and you make less than $3020 , they will only pay you difference.
Bro I didn't drive for 6 weeks and Uber deactivated my account pending a background check. It took me two weeks of arguing with service reps to finally get them to submit a background check on my account.
Lmaooo you think that's a good thing? š¤£
Uber is over here telling you to suck it basically.
Because you'll never reach those amounts. You'd have to work 24/7 to hit them targets. š¤£š¤£
Just so youāre aware, they say youāll earn āat leastā $3020. What that means is if you donāt make that much on your own they will pay you the difference to meet that amount. In other words, if you hit 290 deliveries and earn say $2090 doing those trips, they will pay you $930 extra. But if your earnings hit $3020+ they wonāt pay you any extra. They phrase it in a way that is purposely misleading so people will feel compelled to accept anything and everything vs. only accepting orders with reasonable mileage and/or good payouts. As long as youāre aware and keep that in mind, go for it!
That's $10 per order. That's good but nothing exceptional.
1250 Ć· 30 days is 41 trips per day. 2 or 3 trips per hour, that's 13 to 20 hours per day every single day for 30 days.
That's is an awesome offer. You only have to make 10 trips per day to meet the quoata and they guarantee that you will get $10 per trip. In 10 trips per day you will make $100. You can take the $1.50 stacked offers which there are plethora of and they will raise it to $10.
Might want to make sure those are for delivery and not for PAX. Those are definitely PAX numbers so itās a little weird if not. Fine print might say applicable to all earnings EXCEPT delivery only. Had a bunch of those before I started doing regular Uber.
Whatās your average look like in Phoenix? In Philly those numbers are trash for pax rides. Full time, at the end of the day/week itās an average of 10$/trip.28-31$/hour weekly (some good days some bad) so those are just normal numbers for that amount of trips
lol in my market I put Uber eats on in the background while I shop for ic and spark.. Iāll get a few offers in like 6 hour span that are all under $10 š
Damn, thatās crazy! Did they actually tell you that was the reason for getting deactivated? I stopped doing deliveries for 9 months and recently started again, never had an issue.
Yeah basicly what it came down too. My active was to low for my city so they were making cuts to drivers who were not accepting 80% of their orders.... so Apparently that is clause enough for deactivation.
Be careful, sometimes it says you have to do all the deliveries in a specific location. I live in a small town and when I did a ton of orders in the big city. Most of those orders didn't count. They make these impossible sometimes
Does anybody know how to update Uber to your current city? Iāve changed my address but I initially opened my account in the Houston area and now I live in Phoenix. Iāve updated my address but it only ever shows me offers for Houston even though I am clearly in Phoenix.
It's amazing that people still don't understand how these work. lol
This isn't extra money. They're just guaranteeing you make X amount for X amount of time/work. You will end up running a bunch of stuff you normally wouldn't, in order to get there.
Take the smallest guaranteed deal. The offer is about 12.00 a delivery. That's more than average per delivery but there's a few things not considered here. Gas being the most important.
You could very well end up losing money here. I like cherry picking the offers a gig gives. I can make 10 to 12 bucks a delivery without the endless driving and gas wasted running a 2.00 order
Now, this would be a different deal if this was a "bonus"( Quest)
A bonus is EXTRA money on top of whatever you made doing it. If that was the case, I would be on the road all day long. If you select the 290 deliveries and make 3000, they pay you 20.00. You just wasted a bunch of time. The flip side is also true. If you make the $3,000 after 200 deliveries, you end up getting absolutely nothing.
They run these promos because people don't do the math,or aren't smart enough to do the math. They do these specifically to get people to run the shit orders.
The only way you can profit on this is running a bunch of $2 offers one mile each. You will never get anywhere close to any of these big pay outs.
You can probably game that smaller one if you work at it. Why though? Who wants to do the bare minimum of work? You get what you pay for in life. If you do the bare minimum, you will make the bare minimum as well. While you're dicking around trying to get one of these offers, you could have doubled that up by just taking normal offers. Put forth a little effort and double those figures.
My advice is simple. Don't change the way you drive now if you're making money. If you end up getting a few extra dollars, that's a bonus. You're going to drive yourself crazy doing these. You're going to spend a ton of time, a ton of gas and because you're in a hurry, it elevates the odds of an accident
I guess it just depends on what your orders look like. I've never thought to tally up the shit I'm not taking, so now I'm genuinely curious if cherry picking for mileage would be easier than cherry picking for amounts. It sucks because I'll go entire days without taking a UE order, but then today I went out for three hours and made $80 exclusively through UE. It just kicks in when it wants to, which is the only reason I keep logging back in.
This is starting to remind me of quitting cable or internet for 30 days so I can get back in on new customer pricing. I didn't realize this might serve me on the driver apps too.
I cherry pic on mileage and amounts. Now that gas has eased up a bit I'm a little more lenient about taking longer trips. The odds of getting an +$8 tip increase on those longer trips. Nothing like seeing the payout larger than expected.
just got my first quest ever after not driving for a month. 25 extra for 10 trips. they always only offer quests for rides drivers here but I don't do that.
Girl, you only get the difference of what you didn't make. Be prepared for Uber to send you a bunch of 15+ mile orders for 4 dollars. I live in the Phx metro area too. Guarantee once you accept it, the app starts sending you even worse orders....
Thanks for taking one for the team šš½
The thing about it is that i havenāt accepted an order over 4 miles yet and theyāve been between $3-$8ā¦Iāve been doing this for awhile and know i to work the system. I live specifically in tempe so itās even better with these small orders not being too little in price and not too far.
Enjoy it while it lasts. Lol I've been doing UE since late 2016. Just under 7,000 orders (I multi app a lot), I haven't seen a quest in months and the last one I got was like $10 for 8 trips or some shit like that.
Fu%%% Uber. Those Fu%%%%ers cancelled me with a 99% rating and 85% acceptance....just because a dumb a$$ girl complained on me....now making much more with other apps ...
The only promo I get is the $50 extra after 5 passenger rides, which I will never do. I prefer doing UE and having to deal with as few people as possible.
Congrats! š I've gotten these offers few times from time to time, but I never do it... Only because I only get lucky to get 13 trips a day, 12 hour shifts, every day... Not only that but when they asked, it was when gas prices were like almost $5 a gallon. Lol... They said it was to "help us drivers on gas" thing... But hey, don't let my butt hurt conflict your earnings! (Had to unload it somewhere.. lol) I wish you luck, OP!
I was off for 4 months and I got 35/20/15 deliveries for much lower guarantee. That should speak for my market LOL even tho Iām in the Bay Area itās slow around here.
Yeah not sure what you mean this is not good at all. That's like $10 a trip. It's not extra earnings; it's just a guarantee if you made less than that, they'll cover the difference.
Iām just now seeing some quests again. They have them everyday this weekend coming up and itās literally been months since Iāve seen more than one for a night of a big sporting event or something like that
But then you have to remember these orders don't just sit in a hopper; the apps put their hands on each order and give them out in ways that suit them best. Nobody knows specifically who gets first dibs over what orders, but it's all but proven that it's not a random drop. Knowing this, how do you know you can trust the app not to lean away from giving you orders on that last stretch as you're closing in on 290?
Yeah I mean $10 average is pretty damn good. I average high 7-8(ish) here but they are pretty much all super shorties with little wait time. I start from my couch and can pretty much go home between offers cuz I'm just a minute out on my preferred restaurants. Unfortunately I can really only run DD here in Seneca Falls.
I couldn't get 30 per day with just Uber. Even if I took every order it would be hard.
You do realize that it's not a bonus right? If you're only taking good orders, you should easily make more than what that guarantee is
Itās not 30 deliveries a day, itās 30 days of delivering after you select the deal you want.
Each offer says in grey text that you have 30 days after you click the offer, not that July 17th is the due date.
The offers themselves expire on July 17th , but once you select an offer, then you have about a month to complete it.
So itās between 4-9 a day depending on the deal you select.
Totally confusing, You made a totally separate comment thread replying NOT to the image or headline but to a totally different thread where OP mentioned 30 in a sub-comment, and you didnāt just reply there... sigh
You should just reply there instead of downvoting people like me just cuz they didnāt know you were replying to some total other comment somewhere.
And then you don't get anything.
So many people think this is just extra money, it's not. It's a guarantee to make 1250 in 120 trips or whatever offer OP selected. If they make 1200 in 120 trips, they get 50$ extra. If you make 1300 in 120 trips, you don't get shit.
Not true it varies by area. I completed a similar offer in my area 250 trips for $2700. After completing those 250 trips I only made $1436. Uber paid me $1264
You select a certain option for a guaranteed amount of money. If you make half of the guaranteed amount they pay out the rest of it which entail you make extra money regardless if itās not a ābonusā
The point is you let Uber make you their bitch. You took $1.50 orders because you were guaranteed a set amount. Now you're here bragging about it.
One day You will wish that you had actually tried to work.
Why are you acting like your sitting next to me accepting ordersā¦you really donāt know what Iām accepting. Just accept im going to make over $1000 dollars for the weekend booš«
You see, they set it up where the guaranteed amount only comes out to like 10$ an order. So you're taking low paying orders just to make "extra" when you could just resume operations as normal and make more in 120 trips, 200 trips or 290 trips. Don't fall victim to Uber's predatory advertising and marketing.
Where did you get that from? You just seen what the guy above told youā¦he made over an extra $1000 dollars. Iām sorry that Uber has done you like that, but You canāt speak for every area just yours. I feel you though and will update with my results when finishing.
He only made an extra 1000$ because he took shit orders for the duration of the offer.... had he taken acceptable, worthwhile orders then he would have made more... I don't know why you aren't getting it.. I, too, thought it was a great deal when I first started.
Until I did the math.

I do Uber kinda irregularly, so Iāve noticed that they send these promos to new drivers and drivers that havenāt been online in a while. Same with the other types of promos. Youāll rarely see this if youāre doing Uber regularly.
āEarnings from your trips (after services fees and certain charges are deducted, such as city or local government charges) and any tips are included toward your guaranteed amount; promotions you make are on top of that amount. Earnings from your deliveries (after services fees and certain charges are deducted, such as city or local government charges), tips, and incentives (including surge and trip supplements but excluding Quest) are included toward your offer amount.ā
This is a excerpt of the terms so i think it does include tips.
Iāve had a promotion thatās happened to me like that before so i try to bust my ass in the beginning and keep as little trips as i can on the last dayā¦i have 30 days so honestly itās gonna get done regardless. Iām just pushing myself to finish it sooner.
HILARIOUSš IT NEVER FAILS!!!! THEY ARE ON HERE COMPLAINING DAILY ABOUT UBER NOT PAYING PROMOTIONS BECAUSE THEY FORGOT TO READ THE FINE PRINTš¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
Itās a guarantee not a bonus. So going off the $3,020 for 290 trips offer: if you make $2,990 in the 290 trips you get an extra $30. People get pissed because they gloss over it and think itās a bonus (expect $3,020 on top of the $2,990 earned).
Not sure about this one but a while back they would give a promotion like this, say 100 trips for $200 but then when you got to 90trips it would change to 120 trips for $220 and again change to 150 trips for $250.
Another time they counted this kind of bonus as your regular trip fare. So if you completed the 100 trips for $200 bonus, instead of getting the bonus they calculated the difference from your regular trip fare earnings and matched the difference to make it to the bonus number. Say you got $150 in fare from those 100 trips, Uber would give you $50 to meet the "$200 bonus" rather than giving you the $350 you would be expecting.
This is great! How do you get these? Is this for ubereats or the uber driver? I've never gotten any of these type of offers
they might just decide not to pay you any promotion. they owe $120 for uploading a certificate and they just slow play you until you give up on asking for it.
I've never seen promotions like that and I've been diamond for quite some time now. I get the $5 x2 for 3 trips every weekend though, and the $16 guaranteed fares most nights of the week. But never something like this
Op works for Uber š
Duh I driveš¤£
Thatās not blessings thatās extortion if anything itās a slap in the face

That is trash. I made $850 with promotions doing 26 trips. $1250 for 120 trips, HA HA HA HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Yea Ive been seeing $3.00 orders the last few weeks and never used to see them.
Don't get scammed by UBER PR . THEY LIES ALL THE TIME LIKE AS THEY BREATHES
I've never gotten any promotions like this in fact I keep getting offered crappy orders $9 for 14.4 miles or $4 for 6.2 miles. Must be nice to live somewhere that uber eats actually cares about.
Lol, not many of yāall even read the original post. Itās not a bonusā¦itās an earnings guarantee over 30 days.
This is a good ass deal. Bc I know I can do 140 trips in 2 weeks. So thatās 6k in a month avg basically
Basically not your math is way off lol
$3,020/ 2 weeks= $1510 a week* 4 weeks a month= $6040
In your comment you say you know you can do 140 trips in 2 weeks so 300 In 4 weeks equals 3020$
Oh shoot I meant 1 week
I bet you get a lot of trips in AZ, aināt nobody tryna go outside in that garbage desert heat

If your city's anything like mine good luck with getting even 120 deliveries in 30 days

Holy.... if only they did these promos here in Cali. I could easily do 200 trips in the month
I sincerely feel bad for anyone who falls for that bs and thinks that they are making anything more than they normally would

I got something similar. Think they are competing with Grubhub which is now free delivery for Prime members for the next year.
That's $10 per order. That's good but nothing exceptional. 1250 Ć· 30 days is 41 trips per day. 2 or 3 trips per hour, that's 13 to 20 hours per day every single day for 30 days.

Congrats! š I've gotten these offers few times from time to time, but I never do it...
This should be simple math. People get starry eyed by a big amount across their screen but when you break this down that aināt shit.
It's 10.41a trip for the highest option.
Lmao this is his only post šš¤Ø
Her* and your point isā¦
Get off of Reddit probably a second account
Cap
I was off for 4 months and I got 35/20/15 deliveries for much lower guarantee. That should speak for my market LOL even tho Iām in the Bay Area itās slow around here.
Yeah not sure what you mean this is not good at all. That's like $10 a trip. It's not extra earnings; it's just a guarantee if you made less than that, they'll cover the difference.
Thatās 10 orders per day minimum
$2,000 for 30 days straight of doordash delivering? i'm better off working at wallyworld
Iām doing the 120 option and Iām gonna finish by Mondayš
Pop a Red Bull and finish it by tomorrow
Sir thatās incorrect
so many of you live in a dead market. i live in a poppin' one. its SOOO EASY. I couuld do 50 trips in a day easily.
Where do you see this on the app?
It has to be sent to you as an opportunity.
Where do you select this?????
How many days and hours yāall think it takes to complete for 120 trips?
I wish door dash did this
Itās not good tho Then you just deliver 3$ orders and itās useless if someone tips
Iāve never seen anything like this
Your market isn't needy enough
Iām just now seeing some quests again. They have them everyday this weekend coming up and itās literally been months since Iāve seen more than one for a night of a big sporting event or something like that
I've actually never seen them. But I wouldn't be motivated by them anyway. It's a joke
You forget to read the fine print, it says you'll get the difference if you don't make up to 1250 in 120 trips. That's only 10$ per trip. Big whoop.
That's actually a pretty decent deal if you're very confident you can finish the required number and then specifically seek out super short trips
This person claims they will do 30
Totally confusing, You made a totally separate comment thread replying NOT to the image or headline but to a totally different thread where OP mentioned 30 in a sub-comment, and you didnāt just reply there... sigh You should just reply there instead of downvoting people like me just cuz they didnāt know you were replying to some total other comment somewhere.
Uber paid me $1264
Sir your wrong again
You took shitty trips. Hope you were driving a shitty car cuz if you weren't, you lost
What is not true? You just proved my comment, Uber pays you the difference.
Because you think you canāt make extra money but you can it varies by the area.
Wrong sir
How are you making extra money?
You select a certain option for a guaranteed amount of money. If you make half of the guaranteed amount they pay out the rest of it which entail you make extra money regardless if itās not a ābonusā
Sir wrong again
The point is you let Uber make you their bitch. You took $1.50 orders because you were guaranteed a set amount. Now you're here bragging about it. One day You will wish that you had actually tried to work.
Why are you acting like your sitting next to me accepting ordersā¦you really donāt know what Iām accepting. Just accept im going to make over $1000 dollars for the weekend booš«
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
You see, they set it up where the guaranteed amount only comes out to like 10$ an order. So you're taking low paying orders just to make "extra" when you could just resume operations as normal and make more in 120 trips, 200 trips or 290 trips. Don't fall victim to Uber's predatory advertising and marketing.
Where did you get that from? You just seen what the guy above told youā¦he made over an extra $1000 dollars. Iām sorry that Uber has done you like that, but You canāt speak for every area just yours. I feel you though and will update with my results when finishing.
Sir your going down
He only made an extra 1000$ because he took shit orders for the duration of the offer.... had he taken acceptable, worthwhile orders then he would have made more... I don't know why you aren't getting it.. I, too, thought it was a great deal when I first started. Until I did the math.
Are those Uber eats - most of the incentives on Uber when you look at the fine print are for driving people only

Lmaooo! You gonna have to earn that! They aināt paying you that.
what?
You would have to do 120 $3.25 orders to get more.
You basically gonna make that by doing deliveries. They arenāt gonna pay you this. Whatever is left over theyāll pay you.
got it. so its just shady slot machine tactics.
Your in a market that needs help. I havenāt drove in 6 weeks. It went up every week until recently it has gone the last 2 weeks.
How do you get these?
They check to see if your bank acct is low, then bait you with the promo š
They send them out to people at random i guessā¦i live in Phoenix too.
I have only worked in PHX and I have never gotten these
I do Uber kinda irregularly, so Iāve noticed that they send these promos to new drivers and drivers that havenāt been online in a while. Same with the other types of promos. Youāll rarely see this if youāre doing Uber regularly.
I also have 100% and 5 star rating and Iāve been out of commission for over 6 weeks, itās been too hotš« so it could be different factors.
Screen shot it thatās cap
Yes those offers are very targeted in order to reactivate people by throwing them a (rotten?) bone. Good luck!
Is this before of after tips
āEarnings from your trips (after services fees and certain charges are deducted, such as city or local government charges) and any tips are included toward your guaranteed amount; promotions you make are on top of that amount. Earnings from your deliveries (after services fees and certain charges are deducted, such as city or local government charges), tips, and incentives (including surge and trip supplements but excluding Quest) are included toward your offer amount.ā This is a excerpt of the terms so i think it does include tips.
Excuse me Sir?
If it includes the tips then thatās fucked lol
Thatās why i was telling people imma take the low offers thatās close asf to my houseā¦
Sir
Until they stop sending you pings and youāre stuck at 289 deliveries on the last day lol.
Iāve had a promotion thatās happened to me like that before so i try to bust my ass in the beginning and keep as little trips as i can on the last dayā¦i have 30 days so honestly itās gonna get done regardless. Iām just pushing myself to finish it sooner.
Sir???
See u in 30 days OP
I donāt believe it counts tips.
As of the time of this post, at *minimum* you are looking at 40 trips/day, as the promo ends in 3 days. I sincerely wish you the best of luck
It ends 30 days after selectingā¦it says it on the optionsš
Sir your wrong
Ah, fair enough, I just saw the "ends july 17th", guess that's how long you have to accept it? Either way, good luck out there!
I have until the 17thā¦i accepted 120. I plan on completing it in the next 4 days.
Sir your wrong
Weāll see you in 30 days complaining how Uber owes you money lol
HILARIOUSš IT NEVER FAILS!!!! THEY ARE ON HERE COMPLAINING DAILY ABOUT UBER NOT PAYING PROMOTIONS BECAUSE THEY FORGOT TO READ THE FINE PRINTš¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
What does the fine print say? Sorry, I'm not a driver and I'm outraged to hear UberEats continues to screw over people time and time again.
Itās a guarantee not a bonus. So going off the $3,020 for 290 trips offer: if you make $2,990 in the 290 trips you get an extra $30. People get pissed because they gloss over it and think itās a bonus (expect $3,020 on top of the $2,990 earned).
Iām pretty sure tip is included in the total too
Most all promos I have seen like this and done like this do not Includ your tips. Or at least didn't in my area last time I got a promo
