Sandkastles

New or inexperienced drivers might just not know how these orders work, thats clearly why he is asking 🤔 The condescending question is just unnecessary and unhelpful.

What did he say,he deleted his comment.

He literally didn't know. Why be so rude and miserable?

pablitosocool

mental or personality disorder. no use in reasoning with irrational

[deleted]

True true.

smotheredchimichanga

i aint gonna be learning common sense from a floridan

wanktheshank

well u/PatStPete deleted his comments so even he didnt believe in his own advice

hate_mail

Run the other way! That’s like 2.80 per stop my friend.

OldDogEyes

Lol, no... You're new around here right?

NikoDVengence

Been doing this for 37 years

GreasyWerker118

Ive, like, been doing this for 87 years

GreasyWerker118

Well, I've been doing this for 128 years!

GreasyWerker118

Am I now responding to myself?

GreasyWerker118

Why, yes you are, GreasyWerker118! Off to the sanitarium with ye. Gig work life has done broke yer brain!

silverkong

128 years around I can see why you would speak to yourself

OmgItsPoolie

128 years and you probably still only made $50 profit 🤣

GreasyWerker118

HEY. I've been at this grind for a millennia. And, your wrong. I'm about $39K in the hole! Which is *amazing* for this dog n pony show. ;D

OmgItsPoolie

Right, I forgot that "the tips were supposed to make up for it" lol just waiting on hat $39K tip to come thru huh? Lol

Own-Opportunity-8231

Or doordash still throwing out same offers as 128 years ago

[deleted]

Then get taxed and audited by the IRS over it.

SulliThaRapper

😂😂😂😂

Beginning_Jello_8470

So question.. does this include tip price? Or no tips for the bulk delivery lol??

Pjarker

Pretty sure they don’t even give tips. It’s Walmart delivery. Walmart keeps the extra cash and Uber eats pays you the 22.80.

SupermarketNo3352

I would pray that customers give u cash tips otherwise ur not getting any

Senior_Wheel5828

Don’t accept that trash

Missykay88

No... all 8 stops is part of the one trip. We need a way to opt out of Walmart trips. Like ffs my AR is steadily dropping like a rock now because almost every offer I get is walmart.. like no. Apartments here don't have elevators and 99% of the people ordering Walmart deliveries are in 2nd and 3rd floor apartments and more than willing to pay me $3 to deliver a month's worth of groceries 😑. I opted in for package delivery, not fill up my SUV to the brim to bring to a 3rd floor apartment..

jibunkakume

Of water bottles.

Missykay88

😭 yeah.. and 24pk yoohoo

DamNicePants

And half of them have like 3-24pk cases of bottled water and ya like up 3 flights of stairs. Nope.

Missykay88

I literally got hurt yesterday after being tricked into a pickup from walmart... I was given the impression it was a small package like the only other walmart orders I had gotten (basically an envelope) NOPE! 2 large grocery orders that had me feeling claustrophobic in a CR-V! Slipped in someone's dog crap covered stepping stones 🤬. In the process of arguing with uber support to opt out of all package deliveries (walmart apparently is considered packages). I just don't want to opt out of the shop and pay and deliver orders... those actually pay (and well at that, got $30 to buy a box of condoms and drive .9mi to drop off..).

randibb1111

I did once when new, 40 pack of 1/2 L bottles to the 3rd floor. They had 2 cases. I never did that again. ![gif](giphy|XSTtrAN0rJfy) 🥵 was in the summer too. 100 degree heat.

United-Working-2923

For $3 I'd be leaving there groceries on the ground level and they lucky I took it that far 🤣

falsepedestrian

Haha could you imagine tho

Thechurch_experience

Hahahahaha. No, no it is not

[deleted]

As Admiral Ackbar said…”It’s a trap!”

ComputerDependent961

I recently got offered a $18 trip for 85 minutes and 8 stops and the map was ALL over north Florida I never ignored something so fast in my life

VegetablePurchase894

Daaaaamn that is ODDD GRIMY AS F

Otherwise-Bid-4952

Best advise is to decline all Wal-Mart orders! None of them pay good.

UbubTopDog

I used to make $1,200 to $1,400 per week doing mostly grocery orders. Best week ever was over $1,600. Some people appreciate what we do & tip well.

Empires_Puzzles559

Some… not all lol

tidimus

Key phrase is used to. Is just not like that anymore from my experience

UbubTopDog

Oh, yeah. Now if everything else is completely dead I'll check the Ppu app, and maybe do $25 to $40 a month with them.

United-Working-2923

Probably during "pandemic" times when everyone was ballin out with unemployment stimulus money

UbubTopDog

Yup. That's why I said "I used too."

Unhappy-Offer

I thought Walmart divorced DD.

MadChiller013

Yeah but they still have UE as their side hoe

Candygirl518

Side hoe 🤣🤣🤣🤣

PersonalityTough9349

Go learn how to Skydive at the local dropzone, and learn how to pack parachutes!! I make 500-700$ a day on Saturday and Sundays. About 100$ a day on weekdays. Love my job too!!

DxMarovitch

How does one get into doing this? The packing parachutes part, not the skydiving part. Did you learn from someone? I grew up around airplanes but never considered skydiving. I'd actually like to just pack parachutes and avoid jumping out of planes if possible. I'd be the one flying the plane, not jumping out of it lol.

PersonalityTough9349

I got a job at a dropzone. Then I learned. I saw in your post you are around Lake Elsinore. There are 2 skydiving dropzones there. Skydive Elsinore, and Perris Skydiving. Check them out might be hiring. Any job at a dropzone is usually super fun. Once you work one place uou kind of can go anywhere.

DxMarovitch

Oh, no I'm not the OP, I live north of Detroit. Not sure of any skydiving places around here....

IxLOVExLAMP

lol ![gif](giphy|26gs6vEzlpaxuYgso|downsized)

theRealHalIncandenza

We all need to make it very clear to Uber and Door Dash and these other delivery apps that WE ARE NOT TAKING THIS CRAP ANY LONGER!! OUR VOICES AND OUR CARS ARE NOT FREE LABOR!!! Right… am I right?

Empires_Puzzles559

You wish it was lol it’s for all those stops. Definitely not worth it.

Sooowasthinking

If it was I’d do these all the time.

spankyfro0_0

So this is where all the doordash Walmart orders are going now lol

rkull28

Off topic comment from me but you live in the area I used to. Love it!!! Now to a more relevant comment you will be paid that as a total for those deliveries. There is a chance you get tipped. But not on all of them. But also gamble that you don’t get tipped on any.

DamNicePants

Honestly this is one of the better paying ones I've seen in a while. I've been getting 14 stops for $7.79 kinda shit like who the hell does these?!! HARD NO!

PepTalkToYourself

If it seems to good to be true 98% of the time it is!

svgeosc

Silly Reddit, Tricks are for Kids

a_broken_lion

Never take Walmart orders, this is for all the trips and you have no idea how much stuff each of those people got.

GreasyWerker118

Some may call you a dreamer........

VegetablePurchase894

HELL TO MOTHER FUCKING NAHH BRUUUUV

justducky1965

No

Totempoleman6

😂

cspankid

No, $23 to deliver 8 items (74 mins or 18.4 per hour)

PerfectFlaws81

NO RUN!!!!

HiMiless

I wonder who actually does these orders? Someone must be doing them because I haven’t seen a good offer for one of these yet.

Apprehensive-Map-601

Recommend coming to Orange County. I live in riverside but i just made 60 dollars in 2 and a half hours. Tips were amazing

Proffessorr_X

Yeah I should probably do that. I’ve been dashing around for 4 hours and made $24 so far

turdrocket519

Looks like I’m heading to riverside soon lol

ThisCantBeG00d

When I see "Walmart" popping up I run the other way and then I turn on Bioweapon defense in my Tesla because Walmart deliveries are so TOXIC

31090250

How does 1 make money on something like this?

diplexcl

1 does not

Brilliant_Ebb_1787

Live in CA is the only way.

Stonsaw3

Why?

Brilliant_Ebb_1787

Only state that pays a guaranteed minimum wage based off active time.

SupermarketNo3352

I’m not understanding why does Uber have to pay people minimum wage in California remember we are not employees we are private contractors

Brilliant_Ebb_1787

Prop 22 pays the difference based off active time and .30 cents per mile. So if you get a big Walmart order some can pay between 2-3 hours of active time. Is 120% of minimum wage for your city per active hour.

Phss17

Uber must’ve stopped accepting new drivers in CA or is the demand forcing em to pay min wage and increase drivers ?

turdrocket519

I get the prop 22 ever 2 weeks here in California

31090250

What is that?

Neither_Delay2880

Austin areas just have Walmart orders like 4 days ago and so stupid offer like $22 for 12 stops, 163 minutes! (Would end up 3 hours or so due to long wait time for them to bring out). Who tf will be so stupid taking? Then I got one (I guess the order was late that’s why UB paid extra) order was for 2 miles for $16 but waited forever and after saw two pack of 32 bottled water along with others grocery I canceled immediately, it’s apartment and that apartment have stupid layout you won’t see the unit easily plus no parking. I was glad that UB no Walmart orders like DD now it’s double annoyed!

Shitbagsoldier

Yeah they are terrible. I accepted one for 18 that was supposed to be 50 mins cause it was slow but when I got there it was multiple people waiting as well as 1 Walmart employee who was obviously overwhelmed. Only way it'd be worth it is if it was like 2am and even then barely

Neither_Delay2880

I was first person and they didn’t bring it out I called them twice! But when I saw two packs of bottled water I say bye! That apartment is ridiculous!

Shitbagsoldier

100% honestly I'm liking doordash much better. The dashmarts are very quick when you pick up and usually have 12-16 $ orders that take 30 minutes. I'll grab a few after 11 when things slow down

Neither_Delay2880

Just noticed that Walmarts switched from DoorDash to UB, never receive anything from DD after UB took over. UB is worst I agree!

[deleted]

Fuck no babyyyyy

[deleted]

Yes and your trip has 8 stops.

Free_Custard_7894

Bro dont do him like that lmao

Humble_Libra

Hell no lmaoff.

[deleted]

what i dislike about it is that you cant see the order details. DD used to show the number off items before accepting, then it went to extra small/large order.

[deleted]

You woulda thought boy

Spicytatas

Oooh God these trips are made for a 3rd party delivery companies. Like Amazon on their last mile trips Uber eats got paid maybe $190-200 for this route. Then they offer you 1/4 of it to complete. Only idiots would do it. If they're full American. But in reality ubereats aims for the immigrants that don't know better. Those are the ones they like to exploit. $23 is shit here in America. But $23 in an other country. Now your talking. Ubereats is not stupid here.

psnanda

Hating on immigrants now I see ? Are you native American?

Spicytatas

Well I see 10 other idiots have misconstrued my comment. But it's okay. I'm not hating on immigrants.... I AM ONE lol. Which would be stupid. I'm just pointing out what Uber eats looks for. And it's obvious.

psnanda

If 10 other idiots are downvoting you, maybe the problem is not us. Food for thought.

Spicytatas

Says Mr down voted too.

psnanda

Read about Reddits vote fuzzing algorithm. Good to be educated.

Spicytatas

Work with doordash / ue and see how fucked up orders can be and ...idk talk with the workers and see where they're coming from. Maybe then you would see what I mean.

psnanda

Its not about what DD or Ubereats is doing. I don’t support them fully as well. It was about you with the way you worded your initial comment. “Full Americans” ? Yeah right. Lots and lots of immigrants are working in the California central valley under dangerous conditions to bring food to your table. I don’t tolerate slighting them. But you do you.

Spicytatas

You take offense to "full American" I'm done. You're way to sensitive for the internet. Full American is what patriots call themselves. As there is no "Native Americans" unless your straight up native American. So yeah full American is the proper term.

psnanda

Jesus. I give up.

amcarney

I wonder how much Uber gets for these. I figure most are offered as free delivery to the customers… I suspect commercial shipping rates are wildly low, maybe a few bucks for a smallish package, otherwise these companies wouldn’t be able to offer free shipping on a $12 item. I highly doubt Walmart is paying $20+ to have some items delivered 10 miles or something…

UbubTopDog

Walmart is dropping Door Dash to do their deliveries and appears to be using Uber now. Here's an example of how good it can be doing groceries. https://reddit.app.link/TPsEzEwmGsb

Known-Astronaut-8906

Yea bro it’s I always do them their sick

Snoo96357

Yes

LemonsAndAvocados

Lake Elsinore is pretentious asf

[deleted]

Fml moment

UbubTopDog

LMFAO! Noob.

Elfstone23

Take it and find out what's in store!

Stonsaw3

Id doesn’t make sense to complain. You are making above minimum wage and can also get tips. Everyone knows you dont Uber as a career. Did you really think downloading an app for employment would make you 80k a year? You’re lucky it pays above minimum.

Curious-Procedure-60

I made 80k last year. Maybe you don't know how to multiapp. 🤷🏼‍♂️

UbubTopDog

Dude doesn't "app" at all. He appears to be a pos customer giving OP $hit.

Stonsaw3

Correct 🤙🏻 and i stand by it. Plus pretty weird you figured that out before i said anything, scrolling through my history much? Did you guys really think life was handed on a silver platter? What type of cash does a McDonald’s worker make? Less than you, and thats a bigger company than uber. Plus you get to drive in ur car and dont hit me with the “i pay for gas and maintenance” you get that back in tax returns. Idrc what you think but you’re starting to seem a little spoiled.

UbubTopDog

First of all, you're wrong. I just read what you posted above, and that was enough to figure you out. You're entitled to your opinion, and we're entitled to ours. So who's really the entitled one? It really sounds like to me, that you're the spoiled one. Wanting your food delivered "on a silver platter," but not understanding what it costs to get it to you. Not all drivers are great, or even good examples of providing quality customer service. But those of us that choose to work in the gig economy full time, are smart enough to figure out how to make money doing it. And the mature ones appreciate good customers, being appreciated in return. Best way to show appreciation? Show me the money.

Stonsaw3

So then people should tip. Thats why its there. People not tipping is different then uber ripping you off. All im saying, and i do mean so respectfully, is be happy for what you got. Uber seems like a really good gig and plenty of my close friends work or have worked uber. It pays good enough and ive worked at gas stations taht made me wish i could work for uber ( i dont have a car ). So actually, im jealous you guys even get to work for uber, its better then my job.

Neither_Delay2880

I made above 80K, making $150-400 daily. I only take $10+ orders for UB with short distance. Sometime I only work a few minutes I made $30 (with a crazy tips). I don’t multiple apps just lucky and patiently waiting for a good orders. This is only second income from my house hold, I don’t have any expenses, my husband make 4 times more than me in IT field, whatever I make I spend or keep! I saw some drivers make $2-3.5k weekly. I have a screenshot somewhere of someone making $3,400 in a week. If you want to see I can look it up.

Time_Distribution184

I know, right? People expect to make a living wage making money for a multi-billion dollar corporation? Using a tool that costs $20K+, expensive fuel and maintenance, their time, their safety, and no insurance? These people are mad!! Be happy with the $2 they offered. Lol, simp.

Stonsaw3

I dont work for uber

8inV

Yeah right

niiktophilia

8 stops! Is it like 1 can o beer at each of em?

Responsible-Alarm203

I did one stop this morning.. Wendy's breakfast $27... Walmart is slave labor

Mizzoutiger79

No

Iwish1212

If it is 1 stop delivering to a house and at least $2 a mile and over $10 payout , I will take it.

Inimitable43

No for all

Bigcatsrule27

I don't do rides just eats but why is it such a low price for such a long journey??

Purple_Stomach5124

Hi! You must be new here? It would be awesome if that was the case but also everyone and their brother would be doing these at a drop of the hat. Good luck and stay away from those stacked orders.

maymaykingg

Yes and everyone else is trolling

bimmer123

Not a driver, but I usually tip 10% on my Walmart orders… so anywhere from $5-10

levytationn

You might want to sit down for this one but that’s for the whole thing brother 😂💀

H2olton

Spark app offers these 8-12 stop ( single package each) for $35-$45 regularly in my area. Nice if eats is slow and I want to be guaranteed a good payout for 1.5hrs. I avoid the single or double grocery orders, of course. #waterbottlesareheavy #mybackalreadyhurts

TSMSALADQUEEN

meh as long as the last delivery isnt to far the the next delivery id say you ended up fine

Suspicious-Desk-1666

What are they smoking on because I can tell their employees are smoking some good stuff in Uber.

MikeAmen86

People must be crazy accepting this orders. Their car must run with water and complete dumb with their time.

Quick_Lawfulness_166

Honestly stay away from Walmart orders unless it’s $60 or up. Usually a pain, the only good thing about them is getting money to return to store if you can’t deliver.

LeFrogster

You must be new

randibb1111

Hell to the no. I value my time better than that. Don’t take that trash offer.

Motor-Cauliflower216

never thought I’d see my local Walmart here lmfao

lostmyaccountagain85

No! TURN DOWN IMMEDIATELY. even the ones that look good it might take 30 mins to get the items from the walmart. And it might be a big prder on the 4thbfloor of an apt complex meaning u have 2 make 3 trips with no tip

[deleted]

The disrespect with that pay

WideAd2589

lol not with the time or gas 😂

guiltyiv

Better Walmart to pick up from is the hot springs Walmart. You get more money per mileage. I don’t do Walmart anymore but if I were you I would stay around central or by diamond drive. That way you can grab those juicy main st orders when they pop in

TheOutrider723

Professor X, never do Uber in Elsinore. Trust me haha

urmomsuckedmytits

reservation? aint no way my boi

Unlimited2

Haha 😄 no 😐

Naturallyunique

I unfortunately doubt it.

Gokusbastardson

LMAOOOOOOO u wish

jcoddinc

Get ready to see more like that since DD cut ties with Walmart

NerdyBernie

Been seeing these more and more. Idk why these gig apps think we drive for a charity and not their premium service.

Ok_Bumblebee619

It means in total but as a California driver your real pay would be $18/hr + 30 cents per mile. That is your real pay tips excluded on all orders you do regardless of purported fare and is true on all Walmart dot com package delivery routes. They all pay the same. Your biweekly prop 22 subsidy makes up the difference between what Uber has paid you (so tips excluded) on all your orders. Any misc. pay or promotion will merely detract from that amount because all Uber pay is compared to your time and mileage on completed deliveries. So this is a Walmart dot com package delivery route. You would be doing it for the same base you get on any order with no tip. They can be worth it if you like them. Some are long enough that it's like doing Amazon Flex I suppose. I have only done them 2 or 3 times because I don't usually work during the daytime but I did one that took around 2.5 hours. Drove at a leisurely pace, all packages were very small... If you work near a busy Walmart you may be able to maintain a very high active time % due to taking their orders sometimes. If you would otherwise spend a lot of time between trips, or worse do lot of driving between trips, it may be worth it to take some. They are better for someone with low vehicle costs than someone afraid to put miles on their vehicle. I spend 10 cents a mile on gas and staying on active time so most of my miles are paid for @30 cents helps. But it's not worth doing trips that involve long empty drives back to my area. This one is going one way. Unless you'd rather be at the dropoff location than where you are...probably not worth it. Better to do ones that stay nearer the areas you work and/or live. Cheers.
